One of the main doubts I have about the show is what its timeline is.

If the present scenes at the madhouse are supposed to be in the present day, wouldn't the bachpan track be set in the 70s or 80s, give or take a few years? It doesn't even look like it!

Also...I can understand the kind of difficulties Taani's father might be going through but I can't imagine them doing something that is actually quite illegal! Especially Anurag's father, whose image does mean a lot to him! Moreover, considering that both Neeluma and Laboni kaaki don't know the entire truth, how were they convinced into it?

n as per now present track i.e Assylum part is set in 2020 as in FB, tanni's mom n n her helper discussed about Kites n
