Avtar, Chanda and Ammaji are planning to go to the clinic for Chanda's health checkup. Sheela Chachi comes and asks Ammaji whether she could join ask; Ammaji asks her to join them. Just then, the phone rings. Ammaji speaks with someone over the phone; she then later tells Sheela and Avtar to take Chanda to the Clinic as she is expecting someone to come to the haveli with election promotional material. Avtar offers to stay behind, reasoning that none of the brothers were in the haveli. Chanda is tensed. Ammaji, Chanda and Sheela leaves for the Doctor's clinic.
Jogi and Gaji enter the haveli, where Gaji acts all happy and congratulates Jogi on being nearly elected as one of the Panchs in the Panchayat. Jogi calls Gunja who had gone to feed the pigeons, Gunja hesitates. Jogi is puzzled and asks Gunja whether she has become deaf. Gunja slowly walks towards them; Gaji behaves as if he is trying to call somebody - Jogi asks Gunja to make a cup of tea for him. Gunja says that she had come to feed the pigeons; Jogi asks her to feed the pigeons after preparing tea for him. They all go inside the haveli.
Gunja is in the kitchen, making preparations for tea, absent-mindedly. After taking the sugar container out of the cupboard, she turns around to find Gaji standing there. She drops the sugar container and starts moving backward. Gaji comes forward and clasps his hand and asks for her forgiveness, stating that he had lost his senses and was very angry and hurt, as a result of which he had behaved in a barbaric fashion. He requested Gunja to keep her mouth shut and not tell anything to anyone. Gunja is flustered; nevertheless she nods her head and Gaji goes away. At that moment Santosh enters and asks Gunja what Gaji was doign in the kitchen? Gunja decides to keep mum as Gaji has asked for forgiveness and tells Santosh that he came to ask for some tea. GUnja also decides to be careful about going in front of Gaji during the day, as otherwise she was sleeping in Jhumar's during nightfall. Santosh notices the sugar lying on the ground and asks Gunja to be careful.
Sia, Jhumar, Santosh are returning to the haveli, along with a few other women, from the school. They see Ammaji driving the car in front of them. Sis tells Santosh that Avtar is not in the car and she is wrroied and that they need to hurry to the haveli. On reaching the haveli, Avtar tells them that he is waiting for the election promotional guy and has asked the womenfolk to go to the hospital himself.
Chanda, Sheela Chachi and Ammaji enter the Doctor's room who tells them that she will conduct a checkup of Chanda before suggesting anything. Chanda is worried but the Doc assures that it's routine test. Chachi wants to stay inside but the Doc asks them all to go outside.
The phone is ringing in Ammaji's room. Sia is passing the room and thinks that since no one's there and a call could come from the person expected to visit the haveli, she would receive the call. She picks up the receiver but the voice from the other end thinks that it's Ammaji and enquires whether they all have left the haveli or not and that she has made all the necessary arrangements. Sia asks about the arrangements - the voice understands that it's not Ammaji speaking at this end, and the line gets disconnected. Sia is worried and bothered about what Ammaji is planning this time.
Ammaji and Chachi are sitting outside the corridor when Ammaji tells Sheela to sit there as she had a call to make at home regarding the man who was expected to visit them. She goes to one end of the corridor where the Doc is waiting for her, she tells the Doc that everything should proceed as per plans. Ammaji turns around to find Sia standing in front of her. Sia asks about Chanda and then goes in search for her. She meets Chachi and tells her about her doubts. Chachi is sceptical and tells Sia that Ammaji has changed. Sia tells Chachi that how can somehow make arrangements for celebration on occasion of the birth of a child birth, when that same person had not let any girls be born in the haveli? Ammaji comes there and asks Sia what she is teaching Sheela? Sia tells Ammaji that she will be present with Chanda as and when the test is conducted. She walks towards the cabin where Chanda is but is stopped by the guard as well as the nurse. At that moment Chanda walks out of the cabin telling everybody thats he has seen her child and is very happy. Ammaji asks Sheela to take Chanda and sit in the car. The Doc asks Ammaji to see to it that the medicines are given to Chanda on time. Sia looks flabbergasted and walks away. Once Sia is away, Ammaji meets the Doctor and she tells some other stuff to him; Ammaji is happy.
Precap - Kateeli tells Ammaji that she had been brought into the haveli as Avtar's wife then why has her rights been taken away from her? Ammaji asks her to keep shut and behave accordingly; otherwise she would not hesitate to throw Kateeli out of the house too.
