She is shy and diffident by nature, but a responsible person with great moral strength. Family is her priority and she does her best to keep them happy. Having lost her mother at a tender age, she is brought up by her grandmother. She has her father who has become bitter in life as he still cannot come out of his failure. Though her father has done nothing for her, she wants to do everything she can to comfort him. She can see the pain in his heart beyond his harsh facade. She cannot talk in front of anyone who is not her immediate family. She avoids going out, mixing with people, shies away from any human contact. Sitting at home she has learnt sewing, knitting, embroidery. Her work shows that she has a natural gift of design and colour. If left to herself, her brother Yash and Dadi, she can be great fun. She has a sense of humour, is a good mimic and a keen observer.
A scion of a business family, Siddharth is brought up with strict discipline and values. He is slated to be a big businessman and the head of the Khandelwal family after Dadaji, superseding his uncle, Jawahar. Siddharth likes challenges in business as well as in his personal life. He does not have tolerance and patience. Whenever anything goes against his way, he gets snappy and outspoken to the point of being blunt and at times even rude.
