I guess none, cos I don't really like books where romantic love becomes the central focus. I find romantic love more interesting when it is incorporated as a side plot into a book of another genre (for example mystery/fantasy/coming of age book etc.) This way, you get small doses of love punctuated by whatever's the main focus of the story so you don't get bored.

That being said, Sandra Brown and Linda Howard are good at writing romance.

Hmm, I have yet to read that book. It's quite popular it seems, maybe I should give it a try.

The Notebook for sure, till date the best, though I have not read many love stories, but despite, i wonder if anything can make me smile with tears as this one

they are like bibles of romantic novels
