Monsoon hit the coast of Mumbai unleashing a fury at the Marol Naka area in Andheri East . It rained so heavily that the area flooded and people were jammed in the traffic.
Folks at the sanjeevni hospital got an unusual sight while watching the lady on tv giving a 'live' report. They could see one of their doctors banging on the windscreen behind the lady obviously trying to get help and in another shot they could see two of their colleagues moving around in the rain. The amazing thing was, Sidhu, who was one of the two shown on tv was actually standing in front of them .
It so happened that Dr.Rampa was out to meet another famous doctor to discuss some medical problems. But the poor lady got herself jammed in the car and could not open the doors to get out. As usual Arju and Sidhu who have no other work other than doing eye locks with rampa decided to go in search of her.
Poor Arju even had a photo in his pocket and showed it to as many people as he could. Some of the folks took it from him, admired it for some time and gave it back.
Sidhu who had never bothered to know what type of car his wife drives was seen peeping into all the cars he could find. A couple who were cozily cuddling in a car, gave him a gaali and told him 'not to disturb'.
It was during all this chaos that an amazing thing happened. Suddenly it was all dry on a particular spot in Marol Naka . Arju who had reached there , miraculously got himself dried up.. wind started blowing his hair and a dupatta as usual could not resist falling on him. For the first time in the history of DMG, much to the disappointment of AR fans, he mistook another girl for Rampa. She was trying to help a child who lay blissfully on the ground smiling while others tried to remove a branch that lay over him.
Meanwhile just a few meters away, where it was still raining heavily sidhu was able to save his wife from the car and after a lift and a couple of hugs much to the delight of SR fans, sidhu again lifted his wife in arms and brought her to a dhaba where one can get tea as well as shawls for customers.. Since this particular dhaba was in the 'dry spot' , both Sidhu and Rampa also got a free 'dry service' from DMG gods'
I wish there were many such 'spots' in India. How nice it would be if we could also enjoy ourselves in rain and the get dried just the way in Marol Naka .
Lucky Marolians is all I can say.
