Simple, just as hockey is not funded properly in India, soccer is also not funded properly. Also, therefore many people don't take it seriously and the standard of soccer conditioning programs is much low compared to other countries. Therefore, India is only restricted to being the South-East Asian champions.

We have a very big popularity of football in India.
foot ball is complicated and its not easy to know which foot to kick with.. and in that dilemma score a goal.. its not easy.  with 2 billion feet u c,...that is why we are better off using a single stick.. and which is why we are hockey champions....LOL

Hockey champions? In case you didn't know, India is ranked 12th in the world. And how can you demean the skills in hockey and cricket?

btw who won teh azlan shah trophy last month!!?? Skilss in hockey and cricket.. skills for sure not proven skills.. thought IPL would change it.. but noew we are drubbed by likes of  zimbabwe.. i think we need some morale boosting late night parties...

And who won the World Cup this year?Wink If you are so confident, why don't you go try out, it's OK to criticize but criticize constructively. Yeah, they should party all night and gain some more pounds, shouldn't they?LOL
