Panchi Bora is an actress/model from Assam and graduated with a BA (Hons) in English from Fergusson College in Pune, which is one of the top ten colleges in India.  Her father is a retired colonel from the Indian army who at one time was stationed at Kargil.  Panchi is very religious and seeks advice from her guruji from the Vasishtha Ashram near Guwahati before embarking on any new venture. 

Panchi played the female lead role of Prachi in the Balaji serial, Kayamath, on Star Plus opposite Shabir Alhuwalia who plays the male lead, Milind.  She has gone on to become a popular name in Indian television. Panchi Bora's innocent face and vibrant personality has captured the hearts of millions of Hindi television viewers.  She has appeared in a cameo role in a film called "Its my Life".  The film is a hindi version of "Bomarrillu" a hit Telegu film and it is directed by Anees Bazmee who has directed hit films such as 'No Entry', 'Welcome' and "Singh is Kinng".

Both Panchi Bora and Shabir Ahluwalia were nominated for The Best Jodi category in Star Parivaar 2008 Awards. She has also been nominated with Jay Bhanushali in the Fav Yogya Jodi Category at the Star Parivaar Awards 2007.

Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi

This is a story of a small town girl, Ananya (the main protagonist) coming to a large city with dreams in her eyes.  Her struggles to face the many challenges, and make several difficult decisions to get her life started in a new daunting environment gives this story a  touch of reality. Her journey through life introduces her to the other characters in the series that later become her family and friends. Lonely and vulnerable, life takes her through thick and thin where she faces a constant struggle between the values taught by her family and her own desires, mixed with peer pressure.

Kayamath

Panchi plays the role of Prachi, a simple, very shy girl with dreams in her eyes and who is very attached to her family.  She is someone who believes in fairy tale romances and awaits her Prince Charming.  She comes across as an innocent introvert and a docile and vulnerable character who has led a very sheltered existence and never seen any struggle in her life and who is completely dependant on her father and childhood friend for strength and support.  Prachi's life changes drastically when her father dies on the day that she is to marry her childhood friend.  Instead she enters into a contract marriage of convenience with Milind Mishra, a business tycoon.  The story is about Prachi and her love and her life.  A life where she looses her most loved ones and her sacrifices for her loved ones as well as showing the nature of changing relationships through time and how she finds passionate and everlasting love in her marriage.

Keshav Pandit

Panchi is currently seen playing the main female lead in Keshav Pandit. Sonu Juneja is the daughter of Juneja, the prime man responsible for Madhav's ill-fate. She was a  a sweet bubbly girl but who was also very emotional and has difficulty in judging the wrong and right. Once a great friend of Madhav, she has now grown up-to hate him like hell and evade from his name too.
