You have no sense of sprotsmanship, I'm sorry.Tongue

That's because I always win. I don't need good sportsmanship, because I don't ever lose. Tongue

Haha, jokes apart, couldn't and wouldn't play sports to save my butt. Remember the girl in class who would always complain to the coach having to play baseball when it was her turn? Yeah, that was ME. LOL

I wasn't always like this though, there was a time when I even played some made up versions of american football with guys --- then we grew up and tackling got out of hand. LOL I used to be really good at dodgeball and kickball back in elementary school ---- those were the days. LOL Then came in high school, where we had the hottest coach in school - haha- who made us play basketball. I took one look at that basket and said no way. I told the coach that I'd be reading on the bleachers if he needed me. He never bothered me after that and let me read during PE everyday. LOL
Hmm so I guess Anju you go jogging for fitness.
Or yoga or aerobics.

sounds like me. I was good at volleyball though. Other than that I would always find excuses to get out of gym class. I love physical activities just don't like to play any sports. I guess if I was a better athlete I would enjoy it more.

Argentina is a good team but this time their form is not good.
Only Messi is in top form and he is probably the best player, aggressive and powerful.

Italy always has great defence but cannot score much goals.
Germans never dissappoint. Holland tends to fizzle out as the games progress. I wonder if any African Nation can reach the finals this time round ( Home ground advantage).

As a teen in India, football was one of the sports I ardently followed along with cricket, tennis and hockey. I played hockey, and we would sometimes play football for warm up. Back then I was a huge fan of Davor Suker. I was so happy when he won the Golden Boot.

Unfortunately, in USA I have completely lost touch from the sport. These idiots here hold a peanut shaped thing and toss it with their hand and call it football.

My sister had the good luck being in Paris, when France won the world cup. She said it was an experience of a lifetime. The atmosphere was crazy. Literally everyone was pouring out on the streets from the bars, apartments and buildings waving France flags, screaming, yelling etc. I want to be in Europe someday during a football world cup.

I just found out that the Irish Pub near us is going to be broadcasting FIFA world cup. Its way early in the morning, but I may consider going to some. Since Suker, my soft spot in football has always been Croatia. This year I think Spain has a good chance and Netherlands too can come in on top.

If you had to rank all the teams in the world who would get the first 3 spots? why? Who do you think will win this year's worldcup? So many solid teams! Confused But some of the best teams are having major setbacks too.

In Group A --(South Africa, Mexico, Uruguay, France) --I there is chance for Uruguay and France

Group B--(Argentina, Nigeria, S.Korea, Greece)-- Nigeria and Argentina...

Group C--(England, U.S.A, Algeria, Slovenia) --Englend and USA

Group D--(Germany, Australia, Serbia, Ghana)--Germany

Group E--(Netherlands Denmark Japan Cameroon)--Netherlands and cameroon

Group F--(Italy, Paraguay, New Zealand, Slovakia) --Paraguay and Italy

Group G-(Brazil, N.Korea, Ivory Coast, Portugal) --Portugal and brazil

Group H--(Spain, Switzerland, Honduras, Chile)--Spain and Chile

The main teams like Brazil and Argentina not in good form....I dont think they will reach semi, but difficult to predict now!!Smile

Favourites in red for each Group. South Africa has home ground advanage and the refs will help too.
