Maan's papers?

In today's preview we saw that Maan arrives at Handa house and asks Geet to sign some papers ... more formalities for the land or did he realise that she was conned and he wanted to give her the land back?

But i think by tearing the papers Maan would get mad and would want to get his property and he would find out who sold it to him.. and some how Dev would have to come back to solve the problem and all... and thats what geet wants.. thats wat i thinkk.. but u never know,,

Did Maan actually pay for the land?

I was under the impression that Dev owed him a lot of money which Dev cancelled out by handing over the land to Maan.
