True, it was a wise crack on my part but consider this: by starting off with a really low number like 15 minutes, you made it very easy for yourself to defend that number (or any number in that ball park). If you had wanted to challenge yourself, you could have picked a much bigger number, for instance, years. You could have said something like "30 years of romantic love can screw off if that's gonna cost me my parents".

Na, I wasn't looking for an easier route. 😆 That was just my lame attempt of sounding metaphorical.😆 What I meant was that parental affection is way too ..umm...big (for lack of a better word) for you to ditch for something that came into your life much later. 15 minutes ho ya 30 years....it still can't measure up to mom and dad., if you know what I mean.
