Hey all,

I came across this article about the other actor who plays Zangoora. His name is Siddharth Makkar.

He can also be caught live dancing as Zangoora in the ongoing Bollywood musical in Gurgaon. "Hussain plays the protagonist four days a week, and I play Zangoora two days a week. Since it's a musical, it's physically very demanding, so one person cannot keep on doing it every single day," he explained.

I didn't find him a look-alike of Hussain as somebody had mentioned on the KoD page on FB.

'Zangoora' completes 100 shows, extended to 2011

New Delhi, Dec 16 (IANS) There's good news for all those who missed out watching on Indian musical 'Zangoora: The Gypsy Prince', staged at Gurgaon-based Kingdom of Dreams. After marking a successful run of 100 shows, it has now been extended to the next year.

'We are glad that the audiences came in with excitement and enjoyed the show each evening. The growing popularity has encouraged us to keep the show running as we extend its tenure,' Viraf Sarkari, director of Wizcraft International Entertainment, said in a press statement.

'Zangoora: The Gypsy Prince', starring Hussain Kuwajerwala, Gauhar Khan and Kashmira Irani in the leads, started at the live entertainment destination three months ago. It is a tale of a boy who grows up to be a gypsy dancer, unaware of his real identity of a prince.

The show, which is now expected to go on till the first quarter of next year at least, has a heavy dose of Bollywood songs and dances woven around a melodramatic storyline. International technology has been used to make the experience of watching the show world class for Indian viewers.

It is a production of the Great Indian Nautanki Company, co-owned by Wizcraft and APRA Group. The show's popularity is such that it might soon be also staged in Las Vegas. But talks for the development are currently under process.

Congrats to kod and zang and hu and the entire cast and crew for hitting a century

The zang was in ndtv for save tigers that too live from the mahal. Hu and kash were amazing and their chemistry was fantastic.

The situation is such that Zangoora misses Sonali .. and wanders around close to the palace and sees her by the window. From there .. starts the song ... and WHAT AN AWESSOME AND BEAUTIFULLLLY PICTURISED SONG!!!! Heart

On stage ... the podium on which Sonali was standing, was elevated .. at a height .. depicting like its a balcony. Zangoora is standing outside the balcony and wants to meet her. At first she kinda refuses .. but then gives in Embarrassed

Thats when the song starts .. and again, its more or less an ariel performance .. but this time, it was Sonali who was suspended in the air, while Zangoora/Husein was dancing on stage.

Just when the song starts .. Sonali drops these satin curtains .. Zangoora holds them and the whole song is choreographed around that ... its the prop they use for the song. It was sooooooooo B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L ... really can't describe it in words!! Since then ... every time the song plays on the radio or otherwise .. I have to put it on full volume .. and can only think of Husein and the Zangoora-Sonali performance!!! Day Dreaming

Btw ... the song is one of my most favourites - KHUDA JAANE .. Day Dreaming
