The scene opens with Karan saying that it is Jasmeet who needs the glasses not him. Now we see Jassi excitedly walking into the office. She is carrying this huge shopping bag. Her face is glowing with excitement. She walks up to Armaan's table and takes out one those stuffed animal. Which is a cute puppy. She tells the puppy that it can watch over Armaan sir. She also takes out a book of poems. She feels that Armaan will be very pleased to see all these things. She then goes and hide herself in her cabin. Armaan walks in with a frown on his face. He sees the stuff and smiles. He realizes that it can be only one-person doings. He calls out Jassi's name very sweetly. Jassi shyly walks in. Then Armaan blasts at her. He asks her the meaning of this stuffed animal and the book. If she wanted to give him some thing she should have given him a real bulldog and a mystery book he says. He also adds that does Jassi want him to turn into a girl. Jassi is shocked and say that yesterday he didn't mind all this stuff. Armaan replies he has been made to realize that he is hum and only a hum. And that Karan Kapoor has opened his eyes. Jassi just hearing the name Karan looks boiling mad. Suddenly the alarm rings and Jassi wakes up to realize that it was only a dream. She also wonder what today's newspaper will bring and will it change Armaan.
Meanwhile Armaan is drinking coffee in his home. Malika walks in. Armaan is surprised to see her so early in the morning in his house. She too is also carrying a bag that contains goodies for breakfast. Malika feels that they should start eating breakfast together as they were going to spent their rest of life eating breakfast together. Armaan still looks a bit amazed. He just tells her that he is used to having a quiet breakfast. Malika says that she will keep quiet. Armaan's servant walks in. Malika start lecturing him about every thing. She also tells Armaan that he doesn't know how to make a use of a servant. Armaan is tired of hearing her chatter when is glance fall on Karan's latest comic strip. Tum keeps on lecturing hum over every thing. After tum leaves Hum takes out cotton from ears and says that it is the only way of listening to a woman. Armaan smiles and think that Hum is totally right.
In Jassi's house Jassi is hunting for the newspaper. Jassi ask bebe for the newspaper. Bebe tell her that billu has taken it with his morning walk. Amrit ask Jassi if she wants tea. Jassi says ok. Amrit ask bebe to come to the kitchen with her. When they go to the kitchen Bebe takes out the newspaper and smiles. She feels she has stopped Jassi for going into war. Amrit says that she should n't have done that. They don't realize that Jassi is standing right behind then because they are so wrapped up in the newspaper they don't notice her. Amrit reads the comic strip out and both the ladies have a good laugh. Bebe feels that some women do lecture a lot and grumble a lot. Jassi behind them says and some lies early in the morning. Jassi grabs the paper and reads it. She asks them what is so funny about this especially when it is an insult to all the women. Billu walks in. Jassi still continue her conservation and say that all men are not like that. There are some sensitive men. Bebe disagreed. Amrit then say that she hopes Armaan is soft hearted because Jassi is late. Jassi gets frustrated and say that it is all Karan Kapoor's fault.
In the office Raj walks in Armaan's cabin with the newspaper. There this show going to happen that day where all the models are going to be there. Raj is practically drooling. Armaan say that they will go as he feel it will be good for business too. But Raj insists that they go there now and he means NOW.
Jassi rushes in to the office muttering to herself about Karan Kapoor. Maria grabs her and stops her. Jassi complains about Karan. Maria tells her that somebody has come to meet her. Jassi is so busy grumbling about Karan that it doesn't even matter to her that somebody has come to meet her or the urgent look on Maria face. All the way to cafeteria Jassi is going on and on about Karan. They enter the cafeteria and Jassi loudly says, "What does this Karan Kapoor think of himself". Maria try's to silence Jassi but too late. Karan has already overheard her. He turns around say " Cartoonist, philosopher and guide. What do you want Jassi?" Jassi looks amazed for a second but then her anger is back. She asks him what is he doing here. Karin coolly replies that he has come to prove her that Hum & Tum can never be alike. Jassi disagree and ask him his problem. The whole gang has surrounded them and are listening to Karan and Jassi throwing hot ball of fire at each other. Karan says that he will play a simple game where they will say 10 words one at a time, which should be spontaneous. Jassi agrees to play. The gang is all cheering with excitement. Jassi begins by saying home and Karan says just the opposite. Jassi says dil while Karan says bill. Jassi says pass Karan says fail. Jassi looks totally annoyed with Karan answers while the gang hoots for Karan. Karan says that this proofs that men & women never think alike. Jassi grumpily says that she knew that. Karan says that Jassi is being a sore loser. Jassi gives him look of utter annoyance. Karan tells her that her problem is that she doesn't have a sense of humour. Jassi look at him in the eye and says that has he seen the way she looks. A person with her looks is always gifted with a sense of humor. And just imagine God sense of humor after he made her. Karan stares at her. Karan then says she should make the cartoon then. Jassi smiles and ask him how can a cartoon make another cartoon. Karan and everybody laugh. Karan agree that it is a draw between .Karan asks her if she knows a sensitive man. Jassi nods. While the gang start screaming Nandu names. Jassi just have flashbacks of armaan.
When all this is happening Armaan and raj are planning their get away. Malika calls armaan and tell him she wants him to go somewhere with her. Armaan declines and of course he gets a lecture. When this was happening Raj was actually stuffing paper into Armaan's ear. When he is finished talking with her he tells raj they must get out of here before malika changes her mind.
In the cafeteria karan and Jassi are having a private conservation. Karan begs Jassi to introduce him this sensitive guy. Jassi says she can't. Karan leans toward her and ask her that is he her boyfriend. Jassi says no. Karan advises her very bluntly that she should go for him before somebody else catches him. Jassi stares at him. Karan mobiles ring and then he gets up and say that he has to go now to meet another cartoon. He says bye to the gang. And then Karan takes Jassi hands and kiss them in a very elegant and gentleman like manner. Jassi doesn't look offended at all.
She goes to Armaan office and clears up his mess on the table.Karan words echoes in her head. At the same moment Armaan and Raj have reached their destination. Raj cannot keep his eyes to himself. He can't believe his luck when seeing those models. Armaan is looking bored.He is only there looking for business. Raj has a difficult time adjusting to Armaan new attitude. And then enter this girl in a stunning black dress. She has self –confidence and I mean a lot. Raj stares at her open-mouth only to realize that Armaan is doing the same. He waves his hand in front of his face and Armaan doesn't even blink. Raj tells armaan that a dog can never straighten his tail.
