Lavanya is  shocked to learn about Tulasi / Anand love affair. Eager to know how , when & where it all started. TA replies  love like accident will always happen suddenly & unexpectedly. In Tulasi / Anand case Anand saved Tulasi  from deep disgrace when she landed at a wrong place hoping to get education loan. Obviously Tulasi   holds  him in high esteem & developed soft corner for him. TA further says  he saw her talking to Anand  nicely ,smiling all thru contrary to her conversation with him & hence convinced that Tulasi also has some interest in Anand.  Lavanya is not convinced . Feels Tulasi might have regard for Anand but not love. Polambufy  that they  know tulasi right from the beginning ,  TA should have told Anand about his interest in her in . TA gets angry & gives a long lecture on friendship....it is more important than anything else in life for him, as a friend it is his duty to unite Tulasi/ Anand, will do his best for the same , has forgotten Tulasi the day she insulted him bla bla.  Further  Says ,  Vel , wants to marry Tulasi only to avenge her .To save meek Thulasi from this man's clutches TA agreed to patti's request at the temple.  Anand being a good man will keep her happy.  Lavanya is moved by her brother's good nature . Now she wonders whether MM family who are hell bent on marrying off Tulasi to Vel, would accept Anand's proposal. TA tells her that he had advised Anand to meet MM family along with his parents & broach the subject. Lavanya for the last time tries to convince TA that Tulasi is the right choice for him. TA becomes more philosophical & lectures that life will be better if you marry the person who loves you than the one whom you love. Destiny is more powerful...Innarukku innar endru iraivan potta knot cannot be changed that easily.

Anand's house. His father sarcastically comments at Anand's choice of girl. For his great dream of becoming a successful businessman he should have hooked a rich girl. Contrary to that he has fallen for a foreman's daughter. What seer senathi can he expect? Anand  retorts angrily .. doesn't want to make marriage a business deal & make money out of it , has umpteen ideas up his sleeve to start a business , will take care of that, likes tulasi & wants to marry her , now  all he wants to know  is whether his parents would take the proposal to her house. Anand's father wants to know the girl's consent before proceeding further. Anand's mother gets irritated with this dilly dallying attitude of her husband & comes forward to go to meet Tulasi's parents. Arguement  issues  between them ... father accuses her incapable & naive..mother counter attacks with equally powerful words , finally Anand  intervenes & calms  them down. Anand  then expresses his wish  to go to Tulasi's house  immediately , mom vetoes it citing ashtami/ navami ththi & decides to go for the auspicious meeting on Dhasami thithi.  Anand reluctantly accepts.

TA in office. Phone rings...B'lore lollypop at the other end informs him of her birthday , says has come down to Chennai & waiting outside his bank, wants to meet him. TA rushes outside greets her ,tenders his birthday wishes . Charu is happy  , express her wish to spend couple of hours with him. TA imagines she wants to take him to star hotel for lunch, yields to her wishes being her D day. Tells the security to inform the manager  & goes out with Charu. Lots of small talks take place between them thru out the ride.  Charu totally floored by his jokes & witty  talks, open comments about her parents etc etc. Finally Charu informs him that she would also be visiting their house soon  along with her father  to see his darling sister Lavanya about whom she has heard a lot from his mom. TA looks at her with moist eyes.

Charu drives in to a beautiful  well kept  orphanage. Seeing her children rush towards her& wish her. Charu distributes chocolates & sweets .  Then goes & meets the manager & staff...another round of wishing & talking. Finally meet some old ladies who are very happy to see her. Here again wishing & blessing & praising & thanking. TA is awed  all thru , watching silently & appreciating her acts. Openly admits that he is impressed by her way of celebrating her birthday. Praises her humble nature .Now it is Charu's turn to open up & tell some truth about her....born in a poor family....parents died in an accident...landed in that Ashram...adopted by the present parents  at the age of 6 who consider her to be their own daughter , hence never tell anyone about her adopted status ....felt like telling everything to him before marriage...hence this trip to the place along with him....wants him to keep it to himself & not to share with his family.
