We've all heard the adage: beauty
lies in the eye of the beholder. But, more
often that not, the elusive quality of beauty trancends outward appearance and
holds more than just one smitten beholder in its sway. But, is it enough have a perfect face and figure to stand out in the crowd? Or, is there more to
the way you present yourself in public.
Four Gujarati beauties, from various professional backgrounds,
take, as they dwell on the look they like to sport, how they maintain their
beauty and-its constant companion-health.
DISHA VAKANI, 25, ACTOR
You must have spotted this Amdavadi beauty in Ashutosh
Jodhaa Akbar. This is how Disha Vakani, a popular TV actor, describes her

makeup. I am also inspired by the styles of film actors Madhuri Dixit and
Vakani loves experimenting with her looks. "I often take

professional, Vakani considers the pressure of looking good as "a part of her
And you'll always find a kajal, lip gloss, mascara and a blusher
in her bag.
"I love sporting an Indo-Western look. My eyes, highlighted with kohl, happen to

massage every week," she says.
