Scene 1- Muthu's suicide attempt?

Muthu grinds the arali leaves and sobs sadly about leaving her family behind. Just as she picks up the poison and is going to eat it, a hand knocks it away. Subbu is there, looking angry. Subbu scolds Muthu for thinking of suicide. Subbu asks Muthu to consider what will happen to everyone if she does that, especially Ayya. Muthu sobs and sobs and sobs.
Subbu tells Muthu that she has been watching her actions closely and was very suspicious. Subbu says Muthu hasn't been eating or talking properly with anyone. Subbu asks Muthu to tell her what is the problem between Muthu and Kula.
Muthu cries some more. Subbu threatens that if Muthu doesn't tell her what is happening, then Subbu herself will eat the poision. Muthu finally tells her about Kula's plot to kill the Collector using the bull. Subbu is horrified and freaked out. Muthu does an oppari about how she cannot tell her anna but at the same time, she cannot let her husband continue like this. Muthu says better to die than all this torture. Subbu cries too and consoles Muthu; she says they will get Natchiya to solve the problem. Subbu and Muthu both agree to hide the information they have from Ayya for the sake of keeping the family together.

Scene 2 - More fighting between Ila and Vadivu

First Ila and Vadivu fight because Vadivu was pretending to sleep in the sofa in the morning. Natchiya interrupts and scolds them both. Ila orders Vadivu to sweep and Vadivu agrees when Natchiya orders her to. While Vadivu is busy sweeping, Ila lies on the sofa happily watching. Vadivu's gold chain is dangling off her neck and shining in the light. Ila makes snide comments about how Vadivu is showing off her only gold jewelery. There is more fighting between the two and it escalates into a full on bet about who has more gold. <<Idhu romba too much!>>
Both Ila and Vadivu bring out their jewelery box and count out and compare the gold jewels they have. Ayya sees this happening and stands hidden to watch the scene. "Idhu 15 pavan," says Vadivu, putting a necklace and "Intha 15 pavan! I also have" replies Ila, with her necklace and so on and so forth. Natchiya sees this from the kitchen and also watches. Finally, Ila is 15 pavans short and sees her thali chain. When Ila is looking at her thali chain, Natchiya walks in and yells at Ila and Vadivu. She first yells at Ila asking her if she was really going to remove her thali for a stupid bet.
Next, she scolds Vadivu; Natchiya asks Vadivu how an educated girl like her can behave so stupidly. Just because Ila might be teasing her, dfoes that mean she has to do the same thing? Doesn't she have any sense? etc. What would Ayya have done if he had seen?

Ayya walks inside then saying that he has been watching since the start of the bet. Ila and Vadicu are both very scared to see Ayya. Ayya says unlike most other houses, his house daughter-in-laws have changed their house into a betting club. He sarcastically says since they are his daughter-in-laws, they are betting with gold, not plain money.

Finally, after a long lecture from Ayya about their spilt behaviour and how at least their husbands could have taught them some sense, both Ila and Vadivu end up getting their jewelery confiscated; Natchiya orders them to pack their jewelery in 10 mins and sens it back to their respective porantha veedu.

Both girls look very upset to have their jewels taken away and Ila complains sadly how she cannot even wear pretty gold stuff anymore thanks to Vadivu. Ayya interrupts the polambal to ask what is the noise; both of them quieten down and pack up their gold.
<<HAHA! Both of them deserved it! Seriously, less time should be spent showing such useless fighting! Makes both charcters look mean and childish!>>


Scene 3 - The paambu saga
Rama is cleaning the house while Subbu is going to the pooja room. To cut a long story short, Subbu takes the pooja room stuff outside to clean. The snake follows her outside. <<Paambu backgrpund plays continuously>> Subbu is happily clenning, her back facing the snake. The snake approches Subbu closer and closer and closer! And then BAM! A murgan picture falls right behind Subbu. The snake sees and hears the Murugan picture fall and rears back in shock.

Natchiyar is busy working cattleshed .. Vadivu informs her that Mutharasi & Subbu have come .. Natchiyar tells her to get buttermilk & goes in .. Ila is cooking in kitchen .. Vadivu lands & looks for b.milk , iduchufying Ila .. she gets angry & chides her .. Vadivu informs abt duo arrival .. Adds they are gonna discuss abt important matter .. Ila panics & also wonders why her mom has accompanied Subbu .. Decides to eavesdrop .. Natchiyar offers B.milk brought by Vadivu to duo .. They refuse & urge her to take to an isolated place .. Ila guesses right .. Worries if her mom is abt to discuss the master minds behind bull hitting incident .. Natchiyar takes the duo to a room & locks the door .. Natchiyar probes .. Meanwhile Ila tries to overhear them [it was funny to see her exprns ] .. Subbu briefs abt Mutharasi's suicide attempt .. Natchiyar gets shocked & chides her SIL .. Outside Ila worries as she couldn't hear them .. After a solo RKO , Mutharasi updates that Kula is the master mind behind Ganga's misery .. Adds SK was the target , but Ganga managed to sabe him somehow .. Natchiyar is shell shocked .. Feels ashamed of her brother .. Ila tries to open the room window .. Clever Natchiyar has locked tht too ..


Mutharasi continues that Kula doesn't seem to change .. Asks whom she should side .. Ayya , her dear bro or Kula , her life partner .. also says if Ayya comes to know abt it , he'll not spare Kula ... On thw other hand , if she decides to hide it from Ayya , then Kula's misdeeds will never end .. Ila tries so hard to overhear .. Keeps her ear on door [She looked like a lizard sticking to wall to me .. Laksh nee summave irukka mattiyaa .. Paambu , pallinu , oru scary things aah sollare ] ..  Natchiyar says she never thought of Mutharasi as  a coward .. Adds death is not a solution to problems .. Further says she'll not spare Kula .. And def will punish him thru ayya .. Subbu stops Natchiyar & tells to think of a good solution patiently .. Outside the room Ila is still worried , if the trio is discussing abt her .. She then decides to see thru ventillator .. Climbs on top of a box & clings to the ventillator .. Natchiyar suggests to get Ganga's opinion on this issue .. Subbu denies the idea saying Ganga will panic .. Ila couldn't clung to it for a long time .. her hands hurt badly .. But still doesn't drops the idea to eavesdrop .. Subbu also fears abt Karpagam .. Says K might turn badhrakali , if she gets to know abt Kula's misdeeds ... And she might chase away Ganga too ... Mutharasi agrees with Subbu ..


Meantime Ila gets a revolving chair & climbs on it .. Natchiyar advices Mutharasil to get back home & to watch over Kula .. Assures she'll inform Ayya at the right time .. And requests the other two , not to let others know .. Stresses tht Ila should never come to know abt it , at any cost [you all are too late oldies .. ila jet speed la irukka] .. Trio does an RKO , hugging each other .. Chair couldn't hold Ila's weight & slides .. Bang ! Ila falls down , screaming "Ayyo Amma" ... Vadivu comes running & starts to laugh crazily ... Nice funny BGM .. Ila manages to get up & chides her .. Vadivu says she thought someone broke a pumpkin .. Ila yella at her ... Vadivu teases her ..Adds Ila will have to limp for couple of days .. Escapes from there , as Ila looks for something to hit her .. Ila leaves the arena pulambifying , she couldn't find out what the trio were discussing , even after all this kashtam ..


Ila visits Mutharasi in latter's home .. Asks if kula knows abt her arrival .. Adds Kula is an angry man & thought he wouldn't have let her in .. And so  came to convince her dad , to accept her mom .. Mutharasi warns her to leave .. Kula arrives & teases his wife .. Says he would have arranged an welcome ceremony , if she has told him upfront .. Ila shouts at Kula for konjufying his wife , instead of scolding her .. Mutharasi chides her .. Kula says he is proud of his daughter & she'll even give her life for his sake .. Ila tells her mom to seek an apology .. Mutharasi gives a damn abt it .. Warns Ila not to interfere in hubby-wife issues .. Further asks if it's wrong for a wife to make her hubby travel in a right path .. Ila says good wife must always support hubby , irrespective of what he does , good or bad .. Kula reminds abt Kaikeyi , who opposed dasaratha king , to make a son rule the kingdom .. Ila adds fuel to the fire .. Says Kaikeyi is in her mom's form now .. Warns her dad to be careful , as her mom might harm him .. Mutharasi gets angry & gives a tight slap to Ila .. Ila yells at her mom & leaves from there .. Kula chides her for hitting Ila & asks if ayya will cut off his head .. Adds he is only doing his duties as a brother .. Vows he'll not rest , unless he destroys Subbu family .. And nothing could stop him from fulfilling it ....

Doctor is checking Subbu and telling her that she is completely cured. Everyone looks happy and even Ila is very releaved. Doctor gives medicine and leaves with Ayya. Muthu rushes to get coffee for Subbu. Ayya is paying the doctor when the doctor asks how a snake like that can be found in a house. The doctor is suspicious but Ayya convinces him that the snake probably came from the plantations nearby. Muthu is listening to this converstaion in the background. After Doc and Ayya leave, Muthu is watching and is even more angry with her husband. She tells herself that if Kula has done this, she will drag him to the panchayattu people and demand justice.

Meanwhile, Ganga tells Subbu that she wants to stay another 2 more days with her mom but her mom convinces her otherwise. Ganga finally decides to leave. Everyone else also leaves the room except Natchiya. Subbu thanks Natchiya for saving her.

Ila and Vadivu meanwhile are sitting down at different corners and having a cup of coffee. There a little bit of fight between them. Then Ganga, Natchiya, Rama and Charu come over there. Ganga goes to Ila and thanks her for her help yesterday night in keeping Subbu awake. Actually, she talks to both Ila and Svadivu but more so to Ila. =) Even Natchiya is proud of Ila and tells Ganga that Ila has a good heart except sometimes she says the wrong things.

Rama praises Natchiya and Natchiya repsonds by saying she think of them as her daughters. Rama jokingly tells her to stay with them at Ayakudi. Ila argues that Ayakudi people have Ayya, JC and Subbu. She says that she cannot let her athai leave. Ganga assures her they were only joking. Meanwhile Ayya comes back and is informed that Ganga is leaving.

Karthik runs over to Kula to tell him that their plan backfired again. Karthik then tells his mama to stop making plans since their plans always mean something good happens to Ganga. e.g. Kula yelled at Ganga and family in the temple and the Collector took her home. After the bull incident, Karpagam became all pro-Ganga. Now, after the snake incident, Natchiya, Ila and Vadicu were at Ayakudi. There were all celebrating and the two families were happy and united.

Kula is very angry and goes on a rant about his FINAL PLAN! Guess what, his final plan is to prevent Ganga from being a collector in the 10 days before her interviews. Kula declares that even if all his money is wasted, he will stop her somehow! Karthik leaves the planning to Kula and goes away. Kula stares evilly and creepy background music plays for a minute.

Next scene shows Ayya angrily yelling at someone with an aruval! He swings the aruval and all the ladies (Natchiya, Subbu, Rama and Charu) looks shocked! And he cuts... an onion to little bits!

Yup, that's right! Ayya is cooking at Ayakudi with NActhiya helping. Rama is a bit disturbed to see her dad with an aruval. Natchiya explains that Ayya used to always carry an aruval. After he met Subbu, he stopped all of that. Subbu asks about Ganga and is informed that Ganga has reached Delhi. Natchiya asks how they are managing. Ayya says they are fine.

Ayya then talks about how Ganga told him that Karpagam had accidently scolded someone talking to her in Hindi; apparently, it was because Karpagam thought that person was badmouthing her and Ganga. Rama goes to cok the rice. Ayya jokes to his wives that the girls may end up throwing up because of his bad cooking.

Last scene is all about Ayakudi as well. It's lunch time and everyone is eating. Ayya mixes some food separately in a plate for Subbu and Natchiya feeds her. Subbu refuses to eat beyond one bite because there is no salt or spice in the food. She sees Ayya and her daughters eating as well and asks for a bite of their food. Ayya feeds her and Natchiya a mouthful from his plate. Subbu is again shocked because that food is also saltless and spiceless. She learns that everyone is eating the same bland food as her till she recovers. Some emotional moments; Subbu is so amazed that everyone there cares for her and has tears of joy in her eyes.
