Archana, Manav and Shravani's role in the mess that we see today in PR:

1) Archana's role: She didn't trust Manav at first yet she didn't want to divorce him. After she gets proof of Manav's innocence she wants to come back to Manav. She knows Manav has commitment to Shravani , yet she cannot stop herself from caring for him and being there for him when he needs a shoulder to cry on. By doing this she has made it impossible for Manav to be indifferent to her.

2) Manav's role: He had broken his relationship with Archana and had committed to marry Shravani as a compromise for sake of Shravani and her child. Only later he finds out he was not able to hate Archana. He still loves Archana and cannot see Shravani in Archana's place. He cannot break his promise and so he is hiding his feeling from both Archana and Shravani.

3) Shravani's role: Shravani initially agreed to marry Manav so that she can give birth to Sachin's child. It was a compromise reached by both parties. She later decides to make relationship work by letting herself fall in love with Manav and she hates his wife for still being around Manav. She has become obsessed with Manav and fails to respect Manav and Archana's sentiments. She has turned her love into some kind of contest to win Manav from Archana at any cost, only she is contesting alone.

Who has bigger role in the mess and why?

Archana: She didn't trust Manav and walked away from her marriage. Manav fought for his marriage, the poor guy even burned his hand in an attempt to prove his innocence. Archana treated Manav poorly, she wouldn't give him the time of the day and that made me think she wasn't worthy of his love.

Manav: He shares fault in the misunderstandings that came between him and Archana. Manav did lie to Archana when she used to ask him where he was or how he got hurt. Then he believed she and Satish were having an affair. Manav's biggest mistake though was promising to marry Shravani, he had no right to do so while still being married to someone else no matter what the circumstances were.

Shravani: At first I thought ok she is marrying Manav because she is saving her reputation and helping her child but it fastly became a different ballgame when she started falling for Manav. I don't even see it as love anymore, it is an obsession for her. Shravani has no respect for Manav and Archana's marriage, but then again how can she when Manav and Archana didn't respect their marriage until it was too late?

Manav agreed to marry shravani to save her from the wagging tongues of the ppl around, but now it's all out in the open, everyone knows about it even shravani is not ashamed of it, so why Manav is sacrificing his love for her. The whole town knows it's sachin's child,so let the child have his own father's name. Edited by khoobsoorat - 14 years ago

Agreed with most of your comment but I think they both did respect their marriage. We could see Archana's respect for her marriage after the drama that happened in her marriage. Sulochana was so against Manav and his family, Archana never went against her mom but she maintained sanctity of her marriage inspite of Sulochana's call for annulment of their marriage. She didn't know who was right and who was wrong but since she was married to Manav she considered herself married and performed ritual of married woman for a husband who had partial role in deceiving Archana and her family.

It was Manav's respect for his marriage that made him go to Archana's house after he was slapped and humiliated by Sulochana in front of everyone. Manav must have had lot of respect for his marriage that gave him courage to go to Archana's house when he knew everyone hated him and he appeared to be fighting for a lost cause. It was his love for Archana and his respect for their marriage that he kept trying to prove his innocence to Archana.

It was their respect for their marriage that both of them tried so hard to avoid divorce. They were willing to live separate lives but they were not willing to divorce. Its just that the kind of incidents that happened and the kind of turmoil their marriage faced, anyone in their position wouldn't be able to save their marriage.

Whatever happened between ArMan was because of lack of trust. and even comprimising with Choo was during that time. So for me that was a whole nother issue. Those problems have been solved. So right now the only person that can be blamed for the mess is CHURAIL!......she can see yet she chooses to be blind............she has become obsessed. One is bounded by his promise, One is bounded by her duty and love, and one is bounded by obsession...... and in now way is obsession equal to loyality and duty/love.........so for me CHURAIL is the only one to blame for this mess right now.......because she chooses not to understand
