putting internet on your phone

Hello i have bought the phone nokia n95
now i am aware it has a modem application
i am unsure how to put internet on it like would i have to pay?
is there no way like i can use my home internet on it so i wont have to pay extra?
can anyone help i am confused?

no u cant use ur home net for it as far as i know.
if u are a prepaid user wen u use intrnet ur prepaid money will get reduced as u use the net.[it diepends on our connection tht how much it costs per minuteBig smile
if its postpaid connection thn the net bill will come allong with mobile bill .if u r in indiia[i dono abt outside] its really costly to use through mobile.mine is idea connection and if am opening a large site atlest 1 rs is lost per 2 mins i guess.
so if u telll me which connection u use .i wil ask sumne and try to tell u ..or for correct info u can talk with the connection people[:d]hope tht helped .if am confusing u pleash let me know okie.

so you want to activate GPRS/3G setting in your computer Right?

First to call the custumare care of your operator

and tell him you want to activate above service
they will sent you setting
after the installation of setting you can use above setting.

urmm. i dont know i am confused my self because, my phone as bluetooth and a application which says modem. so i thouhgt my internet would be free because of the modem application  and sumhow i cud connect my modem at home with the phone?
is that not possible?
and what does GPRS/3G  do??

u can use the net connection in ur phone to computr with the help of bluetoothTonguei guess its notpossible to connect normal net to phone Confused
