Ab batao...Lataji won the filmfare award for 'aaja re pardesi' in 1958 at the age of 29...and Ashaji won the filmfare award for her 'dil cheez kya hai aap meri jaan lijiye' in 1981 at the age of 47....

toh lets compare these legends and say who is superior to whom because Ashaji didn't get the filmfare award in 1958 for 'aaja re pardesi' and because Lataji didn't get the filmfare award for 'dil cheez kya hai aap meri jaan lijiye' in 1981. Just remember that their ages were different when they got the awards.

Just forget their different voice quality, forget that it's not the same song sung by both.

I'm trying to END the comparisions between Anwesha and Sunidhi. It's others who strated, and I'm the one who is saying those are not legit comparisons.


Mainly, because Anwesha right now is only 16. It's not fair to compare her to someone so much greater. But whats worse than the comparison is people saying Anwesha RIGHT NOW is on par with Shreay Ghosal. That's just absurd.

And that's all I'm saying. Stop making these comparisons people because Anwesha isn't good enough.


Lastly, I'd take a 16 year old Sunidhi Chauhan in singing anyday over a 16 year old Anwesha.

Great!!! Go and listen to Sunidhi songs...Neither Anwesha nor her fans give much importance to who you prefer or what you think...As long as MDs like Shankarji thinks Anwesha is a great singer, our purpose is served..

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion. Nobody is asking you to accept Anwesha as the best singer in the world. We are Anwesha fans and we would like to support our preferred singer and continue doing so no matter what you think...


We have duly noted your point..Next time onwards save the pain of repeating the same stuff over and over again in all Anwesha threads. Your opinions are totally unsolicited and UNWELCOME in all Anwesha appreciation threads.....

You could utilise your time better by listening to Sunidhi ( is it really Sunidhi or someone from mkmm 😉 ) songs instead of instigating a fight by provoking Anwesha fans....
