Yes! Sachin performed brilliantly today. Just when we had started to think that he is past his time, he jumps back with a new record! Well done Sachin :D

He has vindictated all beliefs about cricket players retiring because of old age.....Very good innings, he left the bad balls, and played the good ones to perfection......This is something that I can tell the future generationClap

Atleast Sachin didnt have to go through BODYLINE series. Even if you take out those great fast bowlers do you think that Sachin would have score runs at Bradmanise average.

That whole bodyline episode was over-rated and over-hyped. Nothing but a couple of short-pitched deliveries by club level fast bowlers; Sachin or for that matter any other big hitter of today's generation would probably dispatch those deliveries to the boundary line or even over it. It was a well known trivia back then that Bradman used to struggle against bouncers, which was probably the reason why the English devised such tactics in their Ashes tour.

There are good batsmen and then there are great batsmen; however there could only be one greatest. By all accounts, be them facing a diverse group of great bowlers or playing all over the world in all types of conditions and on all types of treacherous pitches, carrying the pressures borne out of the expectations of a billion plus people, Tendulkar should be the one according to me.

Rightly said, he is the one. Smile
He has been playing for 2 decades and with new techniques coming up every day, its easy to figure out the batting style of a batsman and prepare accordingly unlike in the times of
Mr. Bradman.

Its difficult for Eng/Aus to accept that SRT is the best but now its getting impossible for them to not acknowledge the fact that SRT is the best cricketer ever and will remain so for a long time.
Not everyone can play for 20 yrs. Star Perhaps he is the only sportsperson with a long successful career of 20+ yrs.
