Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban continue to fight reports they're dating, but even their publicists are waiting to make the announcement that the romance is for real.

Photos of the Aussie couple walking hand in hand through the streets of Boston, Massachusetts, have appeared in the new issue of America's People magazine, prompting reporters to quiz the pair's publicists for the real story.

Kidman was spotted wearing what looked like an engagement wing on her wedding finger, but Urban's publicist Paul Freundlich insists the couple aren't engaged.

Candidly, he says, "Right now it's just a rumour. When and if there's a statement we'll make that public."
