Written Update - December 28th

Episode starts with Toral and Hiten on their SR bed. Toral is resting her head on Hiten's shoulder and they are holding hands and staring at each other. The scene then shifts to Arjan-Khemi room where he is blasting her over bringing Hiten back to the house. Khemi explains that she did not tell him about it as he might not like what she did. She says that as the 'bahu' of this house it is her duty to see that the house does not break.. Arjan shakes her and says she has to remember that she is first his wife and then the bahu of the house.

Back to Toral-Hiten's room. Hiten lays Toral down on the bed and bends over her. Toral closes her eyes and scene fades. Back to Arjan-Khemi where he is pushing and shaking her and shouting. She yells at him to stop. He immediately starts apologizing and asking for forgiveness and says we will leave this house and go away as he cannot tolerate looking at Hiten's face everyday (please go as we the viewers cannot tolerate looking at your face). Khemi says that Hiten is his older brother and as such her 'jeth' and there is no other relation. She says they have to think about their child's future but in spite of that if he wants to leave she will do what he says.

Next morning Toral looking gorgeous in a red saree, , is in the kitchen making sheera and her culinary skills are being observed by all the womenfolk of the house. Toral says she feels awkward with all of them hovering over her and that she will make good sheera. Baa says that her MIL has to give the thumbs up and how the sheera turns out will determine the relationship between MIL and DIL. Toral says it will turn out great as Santu was the one who taught her how to make it. Baa tells Santu that because of this she lost the one opportunity she had to be mad at Toral.

DM is sitting on the swing and Bapuji comes out and asks him what should be done with the boatload of gifts  that they got for Hiten's wedding. DM says that like every time they will donate them. Bapuji says that since Santu went to Randel Maa's temple to bring the mitti, they will make the donation to that temple. DM agrees and asks Bapuji why Santu went there. Bapuji tells him the reason and DM nods but looks very upset.

DM is sitting in his room. Santu enters and  asks him why he called her? DM tells her that ever since the Maulik incident he has asked her never to hide anything from him. Santo agrees.. DM tells her that inspite of that she still hid something from him? Santu confused ans asks him what did she hide? DM says that she hid the fact that Moti sent her to Randel Maa's temple. Santu is scared and agrees. . DM says she will get 'dand' for this. Santu looks at him with her pareshaan face but he opens his arms for a hug.. Santu smiles and they hug. He says he is very grateful that she thinks so much about his family.

Khemi is cutting spinach in the kitchent. Moti comes there and does the usual anti-Santu brainwashing saying that the younger sister gets all the rights and the elder sister gets all the work. Khemi says that Santu will never do anything that would take her rights away.

Maulik is looking sad and Moti asks him if it is because she is leaving  Maulik says yes and request her to stay longer.. She says her earlier rights over this house have been taken away and she does not want to live as a guest here any longer. DM overhears and calls Baa, and informs her that earlier  he had said that Moti and Banevilal will leave after the wedding, but with new year approaching he wants the family to be together and start the new year on a good note.  DM says that a lot of things and relationships have gone wrong this year and he wants an opportunity to set things right and also sort out differences in relationships. Moti hears all this and thinks that her 'naanka' still has the same love and respect for her. Both her and Maulik are happy.

Toral and Santu come to the kitchen and shoo Khemi away saying she needs to rest and they will do all the work. Khemi feels bad  and is watching them through the window. Moti comes there are continues her brainwashing with all the crap about rights in this house. Khemi is upset and goes away from there. Taru plans to use Khemi against Santu as she has now realized that Khemi is the weaker link in the bond between the 2 sisters.

Monghi and Birwa come to Santu's room and show her the pots they made. There is some banter between them.  Santu sees an album on the bed and there are some pictures of DM in there. Monghi tries to imitate the mooch twirling but  Birwa tells Monghi that Santu is the best at imitating DM.  Mongi asks her to imitate DM. Santu is reluctant at first but then gives in. Mongi and Birwa are having fun watching her and no one sees that  DM has entered the room and seen it all.  Santo gets embarrased and sends Birwa and Monghi out of the room

DM walks to her and asks her if she was imitating him?  Santu shakes her head in a no  DM puts his hand on her shoulder and asks  her to imitate him. Santu places her hand on his shoulder as if to hold him at bay.  Santu is all conscious and shy and he slowly corners her hear the dressing table.  He then suddenly he holds her face and plants a kiss on her cheek. He then tells her to imitate him. Santu continues to feel conscious and shy. She is cornered by DM and then he again tells/orders her to imitate his actions which she does.  

Toral is talking to Baa and telling her that she is not used to dressing up like a Christmas tree.   Hiten comes there and tells her she should wear whatever is comfortable as DM has said the she is going to be treated like a daughter and not a DIL.  Toral is ecstatic and hugs him and calls him the sweetest husband ever.

Khemi is carrying tea and walking in the corridor where she slips on some water and falls backwards. Baa tells Hiten picks her up and take her to her room. He puts her on the bed and Arjan is in panic mode as to what happened. Santu, Moti,  Champu  all come and then Moti blasts Champu for leaving the floor all wet.. Santo tells Moti not to blame Champu as she was the one who had asked Champu to clean the floor with water.  Moti sarcastically tells Santo off  for not being careful and vigilant about the fact that  Khemi is pregnant and says thank God Khemi is allright and not hurt.  Then she continues with her usual crap about relationships and that Santu should think like a sister and look after the welfare of Khemi and not as a MIL etc. etc. Khemi throws a killer look at Santu and the episode ends on Santu's pareshaan face.
