People may feel the friendship is more important and reconcile those amorous feelings.
Or another reason for reconciling those feelings can be that they feel there are other things to focus upon- abhi in sab chakkaron mein nahin padna boss !LOL

That's true. There are many reasons why people reconcile their feelings. The main point is that you can still be friends, despite what amorous feelings may come your way. There is always a means to reconcile.

Hmm...yeah, that's right. But there are also some people who lose their trust in "love" and start changing their priority to something else like their education or their work...and decide to take it easy and take things as they come along instead of going around looking for a filler relationship. I believe that nothing sucks more than a filler relationship. It's kinda like objectifying a person and turning him into a consolation prize. That's extremely selfish, don't you think?
Exactly my feelings ! You are kinda playing with the emotions of the other person in the hope of feeling better yourself. That's very selfish and mean.

People used to say 'Dosti ki had ko paar kardiya' I think every relationship must have some boundary,Otherwise its hurts..but a certain things about you nobody can understand,a friend can understand easly ,If we keep  mutual respect and understanding, and mind you, there can be no love without these.

Oh yes, been there, done that. You're friends with a guy and people who can't mind their own freakin business start taking your innocuous conversations with the guy as "flirting" with the guy and go around discussing it with others and go around saying that you've got a thing for that guy and whatever crap. Sucks to the core, if you ask me.

he heLOL

There are always street smart ways of dealing with such situations. The more anger you show , the more bitterness you let spark out- the more such things would follow you.LOL

Thanks for the piece of advice. Aise logo ki toh ab jaisi ki taisiTongue
LOLLOL Btw- its aise ki taisi not jaisi ki taisi.TongueLOL

That is why everyone is warned to be wary of rebounds, but no one listens. I've never seen a relationship with a breakup rebound work. It is always a bad idea.

Although to defend the other side, not everyone looks for a 'filler' relationship. After breakups people can be emotionally vulnerable. They get attached to the next person with whom they find comfort. They are afraid to be alone and get into a relationship even when they are not ready. It is only with time that they realized that this is not where they want to be and the relationship was a poor choice.

That is why I reiterate, avoid rebound relationships. If someone has broken up recently and you like them. of course keep the option open. But remember they are vulnerable and may not make the right emotional decisions. Tell them you are in no hurry. Tell them you would rather be friends for now and if after a good amount of time few months to a year at least - then it is safer to get into a relationship as the person has had time to reconcile past feelings and decide if the new emotions are real.

But that is really a very very tricky situation ! You don't get into such a rebound relationship and later you find that person involved with someone else- you'll regret it. If you get into such a relationship and later realise you are just kinda being used- again you regret.

So i guess before taking any decision in such a case where the vulnerable one approaches, first one should take some time out and setup his mind such that it is ready to handle any problems that might arise later or at least he realises the perils of both and takes a logical decision symbolising he knows what he is doing

. Having friends like you too RTH ji, would help .LOL
