Hey guys... I don't know how many of you have watched 'Dansh' movie of Aditya sir but today I happen to catch this film. I have seen a similar film around a year back 'Siskiyaan'. Dansh & Siskiyaan are quite similar films.
But however, I prefer Dansh more as the casting is great - Kay Kay Menon, Sonali Kulkarni & Aditya Shirvastav. Trio have given excellent performance in this film. I was quite surprised to see Aditya sir in that role, but then again this role proves he is a versatile actor and this role proves it. I don't know how to describe his role, negative, grey shaded - because these words can't describe the role he played. Or should I say Victim? (in most scenes).
I've always been huge fan of Sonali Kulkarni, I prefer her over most of
"today's actresses" and also Kay Kay Menon is a brilliant actor, an
amazing star. Trio's performance made film even more interesting and
made it look more real and sent chills down my spine.
Bottom line is Aditya sir is an stunning actor and he has proved that he can do any kind of role, a complete versatile actor. He doesn't look for 'only hero' roles or 'only goodie two shoes hero' roles. He likes to experiement which helps him to explore his artistic skills even more. Every role he plays makes him a better actor, more experienced and more skilled. I can proudly say he is far more telanted than some of 'over-rated' bolly actors today.
A true artist like him are born rarely, Aditya Shirvastav - a true shining star!
**SPOLIERS ALERT**
Preview of Film
Dansh revolves around three characters - a man,
his wife and her suspected tormentor. In case of Dansh, the man is Kay
Kay,
his wife Sonali Kulkarni and the
suspect Aditya Srivastava.
The movie is set in Mizoram and tells an untold story
about the conflict between MNF [Mizo National Front] and Indian armed
forces that began due to a natural disaster [famine], which resulted in
the people of Mizoram turning against the Indian government. There is
wide spread resentment that resulted in an ugly situation across
everywhere. Peace appears to be round the corner with an agreement
signed between MNF and the government in the year 1986. Though the
locals still carried the feeling of hatred rooted in their hearts, the
sane voice of their leader Mathew [Kay Kay] wanted to let bygones be
bygones and urged everyone to start life afresh. This in spite of the
fact this wife Maria [Sonali Kulkarni] too had fallen prey to the
atrocities of the army!
Things
seem to be settling down when a chance encounter with a Mizo doctor
John [Aditya Srivastava] changes the lives of each of the three again.
John too is a victim since his father was killed by MNF. Moving on in
life, he was now settled in Mumbai. With a tragic past behind them and a
shining future ahead, both Mathew and John meet at the house of the
former for a round of drinks.
Twist in the tale comes with Maria's strong suspicion of John being her
tormentor at an army camp where she was raped by him while she was
blindfolded. Though she hadn't seen her rapist's face, her sixth sense
was confident about John being a culprit. Its her turn now to torment
the very same person and goes all out to make him confess to the crime,
while he is tied on a chair. In this act of hers, she also pleads for
support from her husband to kill him.

I have to give warnings to all who would like to watch this film.
If you cant bear to see Adi sir in pain or cant see him getting really tortured then it would be better if you dont watch it and its not just about physical torture but mentally too. As a suspected tormentor he gave out standing job!! [thumbs up] It is also not good for weak heart people and for young children [Teenagers].
