New Moon star Taylor Lautner is reportedly being considered to become the next face of Giorgio Armani menswear.

The Italian fashion house is trying to sign Lautner, 17, for a new ad campaign for its A/X (Armani Exchange) menswear line and a new fragrance, an insider tells InTouch.

"Giorgio has offered Taylor a deal rumored to be worth millions for the ads," says the source. "Taylor is flattered and is really considering it."

While Lautner's reps have dismissed such talk, the ad campaign could be a boon for the young actor's career.

Taylor, who gained 30 pounds of muscle to play the hulking Jacob Black in New Moon and its sequels, has become an international sex symbol since Twilight debuted in 2008.

In addition to working out and eating around the clock, Lautner revealed that he carried aroung plastic baggies filled with meat and potatoes to snack on in between hectic production meetings and rehearsals. "I went from a men's small to a men's large," says Taylor.

Playing a superhero won't be too much of a stretch for Taylor, who has been an athlete all his life. Indeed, Lautner has won numerous karate awards during his youth.

When he was 8 years old, Taylor represented the United States at the World Karate Association, where he won three gold medals and became the Junior World Forms and Weapons champion.

For now, with his acting career on a major upswing, Taylor will be busy until at least 2012, filming and promoting Twilight sequels Eclipse and Breaking Dawn.
