PM Search feature in Outbox + Forum Rank

Hi All,

Many of the members had requested the Search feature on PM Outbox too so the good news is that we now have that feature active. 😊

One more thing I wanted to discuss is that there are so many different forums on India-Forums. Some are active and some are not so active. So we are thinking of giving each forum a ranking too in terms of their popularity on India-Forums.com and based on that we will have that forum appear on the homepage and the less active ones will move to the second page. This should create a healthy competition among different forums.

What do you think of this as an idea? And if you have a better idea please feel free to post it here and be sure sure that we are reading each of them.

Vijay Bhai you are the BEST! I-F Rocks with all the features it already has and these new features you are adding makes it even more rocking. 👍🏼 I really like the idea of forum ranking, this way we can see which shows are more popular compared to others and which sections have more members visiting it than others. 😃

can u have a limit where in you can specify the max number of topics that can be stickied??

sometimes the first page is almost full of just stickies

Yea I have been using the Search feature in the OUTBOX, it's really helping me.

And the forum ranking is a really good idea. It was needed, as soo many in-active forums were appearing on the first page, while others which are very active end up on the 2nd page. So now we will have a good balance.

Can't wait for this feature to go up.

So the forum will be ranked on how many topics it has?

I think it will be a forum rank like actor's rank, so doesn't matter what channel a forum belongs to all the channel forums will competite with each other.

Interesting 😃 This will be good to see what forum has the highest ranking.. Will it be weekly or monthly Vijay bhai?
