Thats exactly what happend in Betty La Fea, There was a public outcry when Michel/Purab ended up not marrying Betty/Jassi.  Michel kind of helped Armaan and Jassi get together.  Michel was more popular than Armando but they still put Armando and Betty together in the end.

well.....i hope they don't stick to the original one.....and even if they do...who cares...purab has won all our hearts with his charismatic personality and adorable character(not to mention tht heavenly face).
