Rimjhim walks into Babuji's room whilst hes on the phone talking
about the delievery of flowers or something. Shes determined to tell
him the truth. She comes in and gives him his masala chai and then
she just stands there. He tells her to sit and tell him whats up.
Babuji says ''i know you wont speak up about what YOU want, so tell
me''. Iravati comes up behind and listens. Rimjhim sits n tells
Babuji that she wants to tell him the truth and hopes it wont hurt
him. Babuji says only lies hurt him but not the truth. Rimjhim says
she wants to tell him about someone. Rimjhim goes on saying ''i'v
come to a decision''. Iravati shouts from behind ''eh ladki theres
some sari's in the other room, go take a look!''. Rimjhim gets up
quickly and goes off to the other room. Iravati is baffled about
what was happening.
Outside Babuji's room, Iravati shouts at Rimjhim ''what were you
going to tell Babuji, WHAT truth were you going to tell him?''.
Rimjhim remains quiet. Iravati shouts ''I know you dont want this
engagement to take place but it will take place and it will happen
with Prem!''. Rimjhim is quiet. Iravati goes on ''i want you out
this this house, and you should be lucky that we're giving you this
extravagant engagement! because theres many ways to kick you out
this house!''. Rimjhim weeps.
Mr Agarwal is at his house (very beautiful extravagant pad). He
calls Kaveri and asks her about the report that she is to submit to
the party president. Kaveri doesnt like this call by Agarwal and so
all she says is shes taken care of the report. He asks her if shes
considered certain points that are in his favour, she says she has
made the report how SHE sees fit and she will not include anything
else. Kaveri remains defiant. Mr Agarwal tries to explain that his
reputation and business is at stake. However Kaveri is in support of
the workers. Mr Agarwal calls her to come to his house as he wants
to talk. She says she'l come.
Malini is in shock, as Durga has told her that Prem is a conman.
Malini says with shock ''Prem is a conman! a thief! a fraud!''.
Durga says ''yes!!!, i couldnt believe it neither''. Durga goes on
and says that ''Rimjhim also knows about it and is now using Prem
against US!'' (US= Malini and Durga). Malini just listens. Durga
says ''now Rimjhim and Prem cannot marry''. Malini laughs, much to
Durgas surprise. Malini explains that Rimjhims a warm, sweet, homely
girl and shes marrying a conman and thief! Malini tells Durga that
now..Prem and Rimjhim must marry! Malini says she wants Rimjhim to
become Mrs Prem Malhotra.
Kaveri arrrives at Agarwals luxury pad. Agarwal is walking around
(out of Kaveri sight). He is talking on the phone to Pratapji
saying ''i dont care about the ppl in this hunger strike, i just
dont want it to affect my business!''. Agarwal is also saying ''this
affects my reputation, and if this situation doesnt work in my
favour then your party will go downnn''. Then Agarwal goes to meet
Kaveri. He talks to her about the report, his reputation and his
business. He adds that her party will also suffer, but Kaveri is
defiant and isnt altering her views. Agarwal goes on to say ''I will
give the workers new mills and the other things they require!! but i
dont want this matter to go any further as it may damage his
status''. He says that he wants to take Kaveri to the protest site
and declare it infront of Pratik! So Kaveri agrees.
Kaveri and Agarwal arrive at the hunger strike site and the press
hover around Agarwal. Kaveri goes to Pratik and sits beside him with
her support. Pratik smiles and asks her why she came with Agarwal.
Agarwal says he has come to make Pratik an offer ''he will replace
the mills, n give the workers their wages lost during the whole
protest''. Pratik says that hes heard it all before..so he wants
this in writing by tomorrow morning! Agarwal agrees. Agarwal says
that Kaveri can then break ur fast by feeding you juice. Pratik says
we'l see by tomorrow.
Rimjhim is crying. Prem asks her whats up and Rimjhim says she tried
to tell Babuji everything but Iravati got in the way. Prem says
he'll go tell Babuji that he cant make the engagement as he has to
go to america or something. Rimjhim is skeptical that it will work.
Prem goes off to try.
Maharaj comes sadly to Avinash, asking him why he is not in the main
room with the rest of the family, discussing Rimjhim engagement.
Maharaj sadly says they are discussing flowers and food and stuff.
Maharaj cries and says he cant believe Rimjhim is getting married,
this cant be true. Maharaj says that he wakes up in the morning to
Rimjhims devotional singing prayers and he cooks listening to it
every morning. Then Rimjhim comes in and makes tea and she always
knows everyones likes and dislikes. Maharaj cries. Avinash just sits
there sad but then he gets up and puts on a smile and asks Maharaj
not to cry as this is all for Rimjhims happiness anyway.
Rimjhim is in the prayer room praying. Malini comes in with papers
in her hand. Malini looks at Rimjhim with mean eyes and says Prem is
in there about to tell everyone that he cant marry you!. Malini
tells Rimjhim to stop him because if she doesnt then everyone will
be left stranded. Rimjhim says ''what??''. Malini says ''you know
that loan and massive morgauge that Rakesh took on his business and
on this house..well its not from some random fiancer BUT ITS FROM
ME!!''. Rimjhim is shocked. Malini shows her the papers and
says ''Megna, Avinash, Babuji everyone will be homeless. So stop
Prem!!''
