TELLY CHAKKAR BRINGS YOU AN INSIGHT INTO WHAT'S COMING UP ON SOME OF THE BALAJI SHOWS
KAHAANI GHAR GHAR KII:
Says Sandeep Sikand, "After the fizzling out of Kunika & co's drama, we have two new families- the Gills and the Kauls- coming up in this show.
Expect at least eight new characters in this loooong running show. With the advent of these two families, a lot of equations in the Aggarwal household will change.
Gill's is a political family where the senior Gill is a major political figure. Gayatri, the daughter, is supposed to get married to Samir Kaul. But Shruti (Tina Parakh), Parvati (Sakshi Tanwar) and Om will play a very important role in this proposed marriage.
Samir Soni is the front contender to play Samir Kaul. Gayatri Gill has not yet been cast. Surekha Sekri will be playing the dadi in the Gill family."
Who is the all-important Mr Gill? Says Sikand, "Samar Jaysingh- who has played Shiva in mythological shows."
Hold on! Pallavi is coming back. Not Shweta Kawaatra, folks! The new Pallavi will be played by Achint Kaur.
It would be recalled that Achint Kaur had stepped into Mandira Bedi's shoes in 'Kyunki...' for a brief while. Achint starts shooting from February 1.
The Sasha chapter too is coming to an end. Sasha is now planning to blast out Om Aggarwal (Kiran Karmarkar). Once again, his plan misfires and his his girlfriend Monica dies in the blast. Sasha will lose his mental balance and land up in a mental asylum.
But yes, he will come back- not with a positive role as the grapevine goes, but as a more menacing Sasha!
And what happens to bechari Shruti? Bechara Sambhav (Diwakar) got wiped out with Avantika. He looked to be her next love, didn't he? "Ya, originally it was planned that way," says Sikand, adding, "But Sasha's character got so strong that this one got washed away. But we definitely look forward to work with Diwakar again."
No, Aryan does not come back in Shruti's life- though he was slated to turn positive. The new guy in Shruti's life may be Samir Kaul.
