Born on 14th November in Punjab, Mayank Anand completed his schooling in Shimla and headed to America for further studies. He loves traveling. He plays the role of Dr. Rahul Garewal in Dil Mil gaye who is a smart, cute, handsome and good looking Intern transfered from a medical school to Sanjeevni from Amritsar (Punjab). His character was initially introduced against Dr. Armaan and he started developing feelings for Dr. Riddhima but then realized his love for his childhood enemy, Dr. Muskaan played by Drashti Dhami. His character is now facing some emotional challenges as he cannot become a father. Mayank Anand, the fame of hit shows like Hello Dollie, Hotel Kingston and Saarthi, besides actor, is a professional painter and writer as well and has a great interest in designing and cooking. Mayank Anand is still single and enjoying himself writing a book that would be published soon.
Dr. Muskaan Chadda is a middle-class Punjabi girl who came to Mumbai to escape her parents insistence on marriage. She is a lovely, bubbly, cheerful and fun-loving Intern. Being a complete Punjabi at soul but modern at heart, Muskaan's attire very well defines her attitude towards life. She once had a crush on Dr. Armaan Malik, but later started developing feelings for Dr. Rahul, her colleague at Sanjeevani and a childhood enemy. She has a brother who is a drug addict. Muskaan is played by Drashti Dhami who is an ambassador of Reliance Mobile, she has done quite a number of Advertisements for the same and a few Albums. Portraying the feelings of Dr. Muskaan Chadda who loves Dr. Rahul Garewal. Drashti Dhami is loved and adored by all.
Rahul and Muskaan started
out as enemies just like Riddhima and Armaan but more fierce. To start
of with, Dr. Rahul Garewal is a new intern in Sanjeevani, who
unfortunately was Armaan's college-mate as well. He came to Sanjeevani
from Amritsar, and is a smart Intern who also was known for his ugly
looks a while back in college. But now Rahul has changed and with his
new looks, he has many girls after him and has a kind and gentle heart
hidden within him which isn't always easily evident. On the other hand
Dr. Muskaan Chadda is also a new Intern in Sanjeevni fromAmritsar as
well. Muskaan's family has known Rahul's family for a while back, and
surprisingly
the two were even engaged at one time. Unfortunately it didn't work out
so well, they hated one another and the fact that they would be
working as colleagues in Sanjeevni made it worse. Rahul and Muskaan
even brawled with one another while on duty. Sometimes these quarrels
would only start out with bad words but soon it ended up in violent
acts. What brought RM close was their "pretend/fake marriage" idea
which came into action as a solution to stop Muskaan's parents from
getting her married to some random guy. For few months RM pretend to be
married in front of all but everyone soon comes to know the truth. By
then Rahul and Muskaan had started feeling for each other. Then destiny
plays a cruel game and Rahul had to leave for US forever to attend his
sick father who was in the last
stage of Cancer. He confesses his feelings to Muskaan and leaves her.
Muskaan, who by then is very shattered and depressed finally decides to
focus on her career and opts to go for post graduation. Rahul returns
after months in Valentines Party which eventually surprises everyone.
Muskaan and Rahul consummate their relationship. With this , things did
not work well between them and got even more worse when Rahul refused
to marry Muskaan. Later Muskaan comes to know about Rahul's
incapability of becoming a father, which ultimately was the reason for
refusing to marry. Very recently, the whole Intern gang was trying to
convince Rahul that his impotency does not bother Muskaan and they
should see each other again but Rahul being stubborn that he is, is
planning to leave Sanjeevni and Muskaan's life forever, again. Will
Muskaan allow her love to go away yet again?
