Honestly, I think it has to be both. Love is a two way street. There has to be mutual love. If the other person does not care for you, the way you do for them - it will be emotionally difficult. Similarly if you do not care for the other person the way they care for you - its emotionally tough for them. And when one person is down, everyone is down.

Although if forced, out of pure selfish reasons I would choose the person who loves me. I want to feel loved.

But in a realistic note, sometimes this love shove can be too idealistic and mushy. On a practical sense the way to pick a partner is not the person you cannot live without, but someone you can actually live with and look forward to it.

This is a great topic, left me in crisis, but then 1st option is better, Its better u get love and also try loving the other, rather than don't get love and simply marry the person who may never fall in love with you, But its circle of life basically, if u kno what i mean

and I believe,its the discovery of ourselves in others, and the delight in the recognition. Smile

I have a friend who used to fall in love (one sided) with a new girl every other month.

No news from him since long time. But I think he will be very happy to see that many people prefer to get married with "the one that loves you". Wink

so he is "the one"? Wink
