Many directors have tested the subject time and again only that fresh director Vivek Agnihotri adds his name to this list. Agniotri's debut film titled Chocolate stars a legion of actors new and old i.e. right from Anil Kapoor to Arshad Warsi, Irfan Khan to Emraan Hashmi, Suniel Shetty. The flick also launches the filmy careers of former beauty queen Tanushree Dutta and model cum VJ Sushma Reddy. The director reveals that Chocolate is nothing but a slang for illicit goods that bring the lives of few characters to the brink.
Anil Kapoor is Krish a chain smoker but a smart and attorney known for his superb legal skills. Irfan Khan is Pipi a god-fearing man who believes in doing what is right at the right time.
Suniel Shetty is Rocker a strong-headed lover who will go to any extent to have his own way. Arshad Warsi is Tubby a philanderer who loves to love and is a regular to nightclubs and discos.
Tanushree Dutta plays Sim an enchantress with a shady history while Sushma Reddy is Mansoon a journalist whose career is cloudy as her name. Emraan Hashmi plays a young musician.
Chocolate digs into not so sweet lives of these seven individuals. Each of varied character, convictions and lives yet destined for a similar fate. They are hunted by the London police for the crime they haven't committed? Or they have?!!! Discover the truth in Chocolate- Not a sweeter one.
