Highlights : Maasa is able to stop Mahavir and MS
Suguna expresses her craving
Radha takes a drastic step
MS, RS and Mahavir indulge in some pre-mature celebration, thinking Mahavir will be the village Sarpanch. MS asks Mahavir why he is Maasa's enemy. Mahavir puts it off saying that should not concern MS and he should just enjoy the fruit of his labor. A man comes running to the men and tells them that a Govt. order had been issued dissolving the existing panchayat.
The men are shocked. While Mahavir calls his Govt. contact to find out if this news is true, RS tells MS that someone had leaked this news to Maasa since they had been so careful and this order seems too conveniently timed. MS wonders who it could be, when he looks at Radha and realises something.
Maasa assures the sarpanch that he has her support and should contest in the panchayat election. Basanth comes there and tells Maasa that he will take Gehna to the doctor. Maasa tries to change his mind saying that all doctors are evil and that she will arrange for a good mid-wife. Basanth does not agree saying he has promised Gehna. Maasa grudgingly accepts saying her opinions are not important anymore. Gehna takes Maasa's blessings before leaving. Sumitra too tries to take her blessings but Maasa walks away.
Shyam makes some halwa for Suguna since she was craving it. Suguna is touched and happily eats it. Shyam asks her what else she craves. Suguna says she wishes to live with Shyam's parents and serve them and be a family. Shyam says that its not possible until MS changes his mind.
In MS's house, MS screams at Radha accusing her of leaking his plan to Shyam. Radha accepts that she told Shyam about it and would do it again if needed. She again request MS to give up all this bitterness and accept that he misses Shyam. MS completely refutes he feels anything for Shyam. Radha asks him to forgive Shyam and accept Suguna. MS says that he would rather die than do that. He leaves angrily. Radha calls out after him that she will never let him be successful in his evil plans. She vows to be a good mother just like she has been a good wife. She then has an epiphany that if things remain as is, she will always have to choose between her husband and her son. She says that such a life is not worth living and runs around. She finds a pesticide bottle and suddenly swallows its contents.
ST rushes to Radha and calls out for help. MS and RS come there and are told about Radha consuming poison. MS panics and watches helplessly as Radha loses consciousness.
Precap : Suguna tells Maasa that she wishes for the enmity between families to end. Maasa says she wishes the same too. Suguna tells her that she will never forgive herself if things don't improve.
