hey guys... sorry i know this is not related to zee marathi serials... but i have searched all over the internet and didn't find what i am looking for, so i thought i'll ask the good folks on this marathi forum.

when i was little, my mother used to sing some marathi songs to me... i don't remember some of them, so i need ur help. my own marathi is very kaccha, and i don't want my kids to lose their heritage, hence this effort to introduce them to marathi. if anyone here knows them, pls post here or PM me. i would really really appreciate it!!

ok so the ones i'm looking for are..

1) aik hota sasa, tyaala sapadla paisa. paisa ghaitla dokyaavar, palu laagla bharaabhar...
2) ghadyaalaat vaazle aik, aai ni kela cake, khaanyaat aik taas gela, mi nahi abhyaas kela...

sar aali dhaaun, matka gela vaahun!

takes me straight back to good ol ratnagiri where i spent my childhood!

mama chya gaavaala zaauyaa is a nice song!

i didn't hear the jhim pori jhim song before... good to know!!

Gals then didnt u watched yest's programme on ZM..it was all on children's songs..also they played the songs on Star Pravah too...

Arey it was frm Nakshatranche Dene..Aata Khela Nacha...hosted by Atul Parchure and Rasika Joshi..it was an old programme much before Little champs came...

They had combined some songs of Little Champs too...
