Elesh hits back at Rakhi

Elesh Parunjanwala has hit back at fiance Rakhi Sawant for her statements about his financial instability and her claim that he wanted to move to Toronto post-marriage.

The Toronto businessman has said that he tried his best to make the relationship work and had hoped to move to Mumbai and settle down with the item girl. He was quoted in print as saying, "I tried my best to understand this woman, but failed. I tried to know her past; I tried to understand her moves. I tried everything, but failed. But Rakhi never tried to understand where I am coming from. Her notion about NRIs is so limited. I think it based only on watching movies and TV. Rakhi needs to understand that real life is different from reel life."

He clarified: "Honestly, I never told her to settle in Toronto. She can always travel back and forth. What is wrong if I suggested that when we have a baby, he/she should be born in Toronto? I have my parents there and they would be a support system to my family. Is this wrong?"

About Rakhi's accusation that he isn't financially unstable, he said, "What does she mean by saying that I don't have money? That is all so stupid and unnecessary. I am studying and have decided not to take money from my parents. I want to be an independent person. Am I doing something bad? I am shocked by the allegations." He added, "Anybody else in my place would have sunk into depression. Had it not been for the support of my family, I do not know what would have happened to me. I do realise people have their own reasons to try to make others feel small and bad in the eyes of the public, so that they can gain sympathy. However, I am hurt. The controversy and the humiliation that I have been put through are tremendous."

Tough time for Elesh

This is what happened to one of the couple, Gurmeet and Debina of Pati Patni Aur Woh. Soon the show will see the teenage group coming in the show where in the kid given to this particular couple refused to go with his real parents.

"Yes it's true that the kid given to us got so attached that he refused to leave us and go to his real parents. That was the most difficult moment for us as we know what all things we had to do to get him back with his real family," said Debina.

Elaborating more on that particular moment, the actress adds, "There were limitations for us as the kid was not ours but somebody else. The main factor was that we cannot yell at them neither can do anything that makes them cry so we had to behave in a very calm manner."

"What ever he demanded from us, we tried and gave it to him and I think this is what made him feel more comfortable with us. His real parents were strict with him but we weren't and thus he refused to go back to them. We had to trap him in such a manner that he gets out of the house. What was the idea is something you need to wait and watch," she concludes.

Pati Patni Aur Woh has definitely got its share by gearing more and more eyeballs. Let's see who at the end will become a dotting parent.

Pati Patni Aur Woh is gearing up for a competition between the families which will be judged by the dance maestro Saroj Khan and Narayani Shashtri. There were two families who took away the cake.

"Firstly there was a competition between the children where Parth, the child of Gurmeet and Debina won the title from Saroj Khan," chirps the source.

Explaining more on their acts, our khabroo verbalize, "Saroj ji gave Parth a nick name that of Monkey and praised the duo by stating that they make the best parents as they understood the capacity of their child and accordingly choreographed the song."

There were three levels of competition where in firstly the children performed and the next were between the ladies. The last was the contest between the families where all performed.

Narayani was the second judge in the show which was like a shock for Mouni. "Mouni was taken a back when she came to know about Narayani but at the end it seemed to be a family affair when the latter declared Gaurav's family as a winner in the competition," adds the source.

Narayani won't hurt ex's girl Mouni

On seeing her, Gaurav's current flame TV actress Mouni Roy (and the guy himself) seemed jittery and shaken. When we contacted Narayani, she said, "I don't know why people make such a big issue out of it. Gaurav and I have known each other for donkey's years. We are extremely close friends and I still maintain that. Mouni is like my younger sister. I will never do anything to hurt them."

Then why were they taken by surprise on the show? "The channel asked me to come on the show and I accepted. And if Gaurav and Mouni looked shocked, they know the reason better. It could also be a brilliant editing job, maybe an attempt from the channel to garner TRPs."

But Mouni hasnt been very kind to Narayani when confronted by media. Narayani irritably adds, "The media must be asking Mouni questions which upset her. In a fit of anger or stress, she may have said things that I'm sure she didn't mean."

Well, whatever the case Narayani, even you seem hassled... Hope it's not because of your guy (oops, best friend!) dating your 'younger sister'!
