ppl say they r friends wen they talk online, but most ppl have this little doubt at the bak of there mind, that this person is just someone who they r talking to over the internet. The internet is a reality that u can escape into, other then the other world. And sometimes u find it easier to talk and open up too ppl who u dont see on a regular basis.
But u should always be careful about wat u say and giving away personal details.

See the thing is, like many of you already mentioned..online, you can be whoever you want whenever you want. You dont have to represent your 'true' self to anyone, why? because how would anyone really come to know how you truly are if your interaction is limited to the net, which means no face to face reaction or anything of that sort. Havent you guys ever felt that some friends, who you merely know through the web, are making up stuff? Maybe, to gain sympathy/love/friendliness and so on? At the end of the day, none of us are stupid enough to believe " I'm so sick, Im gonna have an operation tomorrow." Then, the next day, you see them on I-F or wherever, "just had my operation and im all better." Cant be possible.

But, people do make up stuff, and its evident when they do. So, how can that online friend be true? Or, does that mean none of us are our real selves online? Everything, from everyone, is just exaggeration in one way or the other?
