Monday 3/8/09 (archives Copy)

Well, as predicted, it is the dream of senior kadu kadu Jothi
( antha amma moonji close up le !! Roja kku bayama
pochu.... night time vera.... Vibhuthi poosindu paduthukko Roja)
Kavya is playing with daddy gander - running and catching -
suddenly Kavya swoons - fortunately Thiru and Vaathu land.
Kavya is rushed to the hospital.

Mommy meets sonny boy in the abacus school. Sonny says that
he is just doing great . Mommy cries and is more worried about
some one to light her funeral pyre !!! (where is your daughter??)
Tells sonny boy that Vaathu has married Thiru and is happy. Also
says that she KNOWS that her son is not guilty ( apdi podu !!! even
creep is not able to meet her eyes !!) Creep does some more
veppilai adithal - "Vaathu is scheming...vaathu is out to destroy us.."
Mommy says that vaathu brought back all the property documents
and creep wants to know if all that is original !!! Some more
crying and finally mommy leaves - rather sent out by the jail warden.

Kavya is being examined by a doctor. Thiru and Vaathu devudu
kathufying outside - vaathu cries (azhuthuttalummm !!!) Doctor comes
outand says that Kavya is out of danger -"make sure that she does
not overdo things" Asks Thiru to meet him. Vaathu goes in and cries.
Both go to meet the doctor ( ada yen arivu kozhundhugalaa, ipdi
antha pappa vai thaniyaa vittu ttu povingalaa???) Bangle protection
for Mangai ( Thava. Karthik heaves a sigh of relief - habbaaaa, last
segment taken care of !!) Every one asks about Jeyanthi - Bharath
tries to call...tries...tries.....

Tuesday (8/4/09): Update by Patsy

Bharath tries to call Jayanthi and says the line is busy. Sindha tells Bharath to try again while she goes in and see to the guests. The ladies start the function. Suddenly Jayanthi comes and does the sangyam and puts sandalwood paste on Mangai. Mangai tells her to stop. Suddenly Jayanthi disappears and Mangai realises it is her imagination. Her friends asks her what is wrong and Mangai says nothing. Sindha tells the ladies to do aarti if the sangyam is over as Jayanthi would not be coming. The ladies do aarti and Mangai is sad. After the function Mangai sits in the room with her friend Deepa. She suddenly has pains and Bharat tells Mangai he will take her to the hospital in town. Thirru and Kasthuri are discussing about Kavya with a doctor. Doctor tells them it is better to do a heart transplant immediately as it will cause more problem later. Thiru tells about Kavya being in the list seeking donors. Doctor tells them about some other children who had heart transplant. Kasthuri tells doctor to keep Kavya in the hospital if more treatments are needed but doctor tells them they can take her home.

Vishu is pacing his front yard and tells his sister he feels bad that Kavya fell ill while playing with him.. Vasugi tells Vishu it is not his fault as Kavya is weak. She assures him Kavya will be alright. Thiru, Kasthuri and Kavya return. Vishu asks Kasthuri about Kavya and Kasthuri tells him about their discussion with the doctor and goes in.

Ram is sitting under the tree shaking legs. Constable comes with two inmates and shows Ram to them and says Madam Radha paid them to bash him up. Constable tell them to beat Ram up and break his legs. One of the inmate sits dow while his friend goes with a few other inmates and tells Ram to massage his leader's legs. Ram says they don't know who they are talking to and explains he is an MD of a repurable Computer Firm. The men laugh at him and says that doesn;t mean anuthing when he has come in after murdering his wife. Ram looks at them and asks if they are rowdies. The men say they are not rowdies but big time hitman. The pull Ram and a fight break out. The man then beat Ram with logs and run away. Ram is hurt and cries out in pain. Constable watches this with a smile and after a few minutes go to Ram and ask what happened. Ram tells them some guys beat him up. Constable calls some of the inmate to come help. Ram's cell mate also comes there and helps to take Ram inside. After treatment, his cell mate takes him in the cell. Constable comes and asks if Ram knows the men and if there was any animosity before. Ram says he never saw them before. Constable tells Ram he will send the doctor in to check on him and if asked Ram is to tell him he hurt himself while working and leaves. Ram;s cell mate laughs. Ram asks why andhe says they were put in jail for committing crime but inside the jail there are more crimes. Ram asks him to tell about himself. His mate says something about crimes done by big man and people like him and their punishment. THODARUM

Wednesday 5/8/09 - Update By Patsy

Thiru gets ready leave for Bangalore. Tells Kasthuri to keep her cell on at all times as the doctor may with news about possible donor. Kasthuri asks if she can go visit her sisters and Thiru tell she doesn't need his permission. Kasthuri tells him to return soon. Thiru takes leave. Kasthuri tells her father she wants to visit Thanam and he says ok. Kasthuri goes to Thanam's house. Thanam's MIL sees her and asks who she is. Kasthuri explains about herself. Megala is surprised at the changes and invites her in. After exchanging pleanstries, Kasthuri asks for Thanam.

Megala grops the bombshell - Thanam is no longer living there and has separated Shiva. Megala further tells Thanam had left 2 months ago. Kasthuri asks why didn't Megala stop her. Megala says Thanam never respected her a MIL and did not listen to her. Megala talks about Shiva getting divorce papers ready and then she will have to get him married again. Kasthuri tells Megala not to be hasty in getting Shiva remarried, promises to talk to Thanam and leaves.

Mangai in her room resting and tells her husband he must be tired after running around the whole day. She tells him to rest because he would need the energy to do more running around and work after baby is born. Bharath tells her he can handle it and it is a pleasure. Sindha comes there with a container and tells Bharath it contains some food for Jayanthi and for him to take when he goes to visit her the next day. Mangai too gives him some bangles. Bharath tells Mangai to rest and goes to eat dinner.

Ganesh visits Ram in jail. He is shocked to see Ram all beaten up and limping and asks what happened. Ram lies saying he fell while doing some work. Ganesh tells him this is all due to his own doing. Ram says no one is even trying to get him out of jail. Ganesh says it is not so and even now Kasthuri feels sad for him and Jothi. Ram refuses to believe and says why should she - she is happily married now and would have no time to think about him. Ram asks Ganesh why isn't he trying to get him out of jail. Ganesh says he had met with an attorney but he said it is not possible to get Ram out on bail before 3 months are up and only if the police had not filed their charge file. Ram tells Ganesh he is hurting and leaves.

Kasthuri goes to the hospital Thanam works at and meets her. Thanam is happy to see her and spins a story about being away on her wedding day. Thanam promises to come see her soon. Kasthuri tells her to come with her husband. Thanam says Shiva is not in town and will come with her son. Thanam says her husband is out of town for some time. Kasthuri says she knows the true story as she had just gone to her MIL's house and spoken to her. Thanam is shocked. THODARUM.

Update - 6th August 2009, Thursday

Continues from yesterday. Kasthuri tells Dhanam that she had been to her house and her MIL had spilled the beans. Wants to know why such a big problem was not brought to their Dad's or her notice. Dhanam did not want to burden others, so had kept the matter to herself. kasthuri wants to know what transpired between them to bring such a situation. And likens the punidhamaana husband wife relationship to a mirror, whoever breaks the damage- the loss is done. Dhanam says her husband did not treat her as his wife, still she lived with him for a year... ( TK.. engeyO kaNakku udhaikkudhu..seriya calculate paNNu man !) she walked out only when she realised her husband did not understand her at all. That he kept supporting his mother all the time. Kasthuri tells when Dhanam mentions as his mother- it should be also Dhanam's fault, neither did she say athai, my MIL nor treat her as her mother. Time for flashback... Dhanam is cooking, her MIL comes and asks if she had her bath because it is amavasai and have to do padayal for her husband. Dhanam "the enlightened" says that she is yet to bathe and that manasu should be suththam to do the padayal. This turns out to be an argument between MIL and DIL. Dhanam comes all dressed up and invites her MIL to do the prayers, MIL refuses, saying how can she keep that food as padayal. Neither will she keep it as padayal nor will she eat it herself. Dhanam leaves for work in a huff.

Dhanam's husband Shiva comes home and sees his mother reading a book. Enquires why she did not have her lunch. Mummy replies she had a tummy a upset, he further probes. Dhanam comes in and says her MIL is upset because she cooked before her bath. Shiva shuts her up and tells he will talk to his mother. Dhanam says she will talk because they are urutting her head. Shouts at her for not adjusting and asks her to go inside. Dhanam says she will go but out - packs her bag, picks her son and leaves. Shiva tries to stop her but in vain.

Back to the present. Our vaathu says she would deal with it. Asks for details of Shiva and her son. Shiva is working in a hospital in Poonthamalli and the son is in a boarding school. kasthuri makes a trip to meet Shiva. Shiva recognises her, says it is the first time he is seeing her after the facial transplantation. Enquires about each other's well being. kasthuri mentions of her visit to his house and of his mother's intention to get him re-married. He did not want to send the divorce notice. Shiva says he is not at fault, Dhanam is the only wife in his life. Says Dhanam is good but she does not have the sagipputhanmai. Everyday quarrel between his mother and wife although as individuals they are good. He tells Dhanam to adjust because she has age on her side, she must be able to understand better. If he tells his mom it would be difficult for her to adjust and has nowhere to go. As a son he has duties too ! Again flashback, Shiva goes in search of Dhanam, comes home and asks his mother if Dhanam returned. Says he is not able to locate her... his mother says she will come back because she cannot find an yemaaLi like him. Shiva shouts at his mom saying that she always talks wrong about Dhanam, both of them make a mountain out of a molehill..that she should treat Dhanam as her daughter...if something happens to Dhanam then both sonny and mommy will have to go to the abacus school. back to present... Shiva asks Kasthuri how can he send his mother to an old age home..then he would be a sinner in God's eyes.. Kasthuri wants to know if Dhanam wanted to send her to an old age home, Shiva negates. Says that we reap what we sow... only if they take care of his mother, tomorrow their son would take care of them. He changed his job because Dhanam said she would do so if he did not. Kasthuri asks why he did not mention this to her dad or her, Dhanam said she would commit suicide if he did says Shiva.

Vaathu comes home, and DG kusalam visarruchufies about Dhanam. Vaathu lies to him saying that Shiva takes care of her on a golden platter. DG says he is very happy that all his SILs are very good. He was worried about Kasthuri only, her life is also well settled now...

Friday, August 7th 2009 Updates

DG continues with the dialogue of yesterday that he is lucky to have such wonderful SILs, wonders how Dhanam did not insist on Kasthuri staying behind, to spend a day with them. Kavya comes running calling her mummy, and wants a promise that kasthuri will be with her always. Kasthuri says that she will visit her sister Dhanam the next day and then will stay with Kavya at all times. ( habbaa.. adutha sister veetula problem illada saami !!) Kisses kavya goodnight... and tells DG although athai can take care of Kavya, Kavya needs her presence. DG now wants to know why she wants to visit Dhanam the next day - vaathu kottufies that it would be the day both Dhanam and Shiva will get together... DG wants clarifcations, now vaathu kottinadha mozhugufies, saying it is the day they got together - their wedding anniversary. DG thanks her for reminding and now wants to pile on !! Vaathu gives the usual look (has to be thiru thiru look ofcourse ! - pun unintended) then tells they would be working so she would meet them at the hospital. DG praises Shiva and says he will see them someother time and conveys his wishes through vaathu. vaathu promises to invite them home someday.

Vaathu in conference with BG (Brother Gander - Ganesh), Kasthuri confesses she did not know that all people had their own problems until now. ( adhanaalathaan unna vaathunu koopidrOm), BG wants to know how Vaathu is going to bring them together. Vaathu says she has a plan ( iva solradhukku munna i could guess the plan - TK you have joined thollai in running out of ideas), asks Ganesh to call Shiva's phone and repeat what she says, next calls Dhanam's phone with the same muted message. Both Dhanam and Shiva rush to the hospital. Shiva is the first to reach - comes and asks what happened to Dhanam. kasthuri and Ganesh say that she met with an accident and is in the ICU, Shiva wants to see her, but Kasthuri and Ganesh hold him back. They go to meet the doctor making Shiva wait there... Shiva is crying that Dhanam is his all, will not live without her etc etc... Kasthuri and Ganesh go down and Dhanam comes running with the same dialogue, she is told the same thing and is taken to where Shiva is waiting. Both hubby and wifey pozhunjufy paasam. kasthuri gives a big grin and tells it is all her drama - ivvalavu anbu vechukkittu you both were staying away from each other. All of them turn around to look at Shiva's mother with her sorry look, says she did not mean to separate them but it was because of insecured feeling, all of them decide to stay together...

Soma with Mohan on the beach. Mohan wants to pOttuthallufy Thiru in Hyderabad. ( TK if Thiru has gone to Bangalore how can you kill him in Hyderabad?) Soma says the whole world knows that they have such an intention, so Thiru cannot die just like that. Spells out the plan. Since Thiru did not get the flight ticket and is travelling by train, let him do so until he reaches Guntur. He would make someone pose as a doctor and make a call to Thiru saying kavya is very serious. There would be records that he travelled by that train. He would get off at Guntur, and Mohan should have his people pose as taxi drivers and kidnap Thiru to their Yercaud bungalow. Will inform him as to what is to be done next. This must be dealt with very carefully, that he must use smart men and not some idiot, who will spoil their work. Only after killing Thiru will he do the karmakaaryam for his daughter. Mohan and men leave. A pensive Soma thinks alound - nallavanaa maaranumnu nenachen, vidamattentiyEda Thiru... inimEl thaan indha Somasundarathin thiruviLayaadal aarambam....

Monday 10/8/09 - archives copy

Daddy gander is teaching Tirukural to Kavya and wants her to
recite. Kavya goes to Vasugi athai and says that she wants to go
back to her house as soon as amma comes "thatha, kural sollunnu
uyirai edukkaraar" Vaathu comes back and DG confronts her
about Dhanam's wedding anniversary celebs. Finally says that
Dhanam told him every thing -' why did u not tell me?" Vaathu says
that she did not want DG to suffer. DG says that vaathu has done
what her mother would have done - were she alive.

Jeyanthi has a fall and has to be taken to the hospital. Vaathu visits
Radha mommy who is sick. Cries about Rekha baby and tells Vaathu
that she has a henchman inside -' antha creep kku punishment naan
kudukkaren. i wont kill him. As a first instalment, my man has broken
his leg !!" Vaathu shows an expression (kaattittaalum....) which does not
tell Roja anything - are u happy to hear this? or sad that your sweet heart
is paying back?? uh huh.

Bharath brings Mangai for a check up - same hospital. Bharath's friend
draws him aside and says that Jeyanthi is here too. Bharath manages
to take Mangai away - the sisters do not meet...

Patsy's Tuesday - 12/8/09

Bharath takes Mangai to another waiting area. Mangai passes and Jayanthi comes out. Both sisters miss each other. Bharath tells Mangai to wait while he goes out a minute to check if the doctor is coming. Bharath goes out to see Jayanthi, her landlady and friend leave . Bharath heaves a sogn of relieve.

Thanam, Siva, thei son and Vasugi attai visit Kasthuri and Kavya. Thiru comes down and is introduce to the visitors. After some greeting and advice, Thiru tells them they will go out to eat and leaves promising to return in time for lunch. Bharath and Jayanthi meet and Jayanthi says she would have died if Mangai saw her. Bharath chides her for talking like that and tells her she should now live for her child.

Thanam and Kasthuri talk more about their family and telsl her to give a granchild for their father. Kasthuri just keeps quiet. Attai comes there and takes Thanam out and tells her that both Kashturi and her husband have not consumated their marriage and for her not to talk to Kasthuri about children. And that both Thiru and Kashturi have decided not to consumate their marriage until Kavya is cured. Thanam tells her attai she will talk to Kasthuri about this.

Jayanthi's landlady is cleaning her pooja room. Her daughter tells her to stop as she willtake care of it. Mother tells daughter the prospective groom and family will be coming soon to see her and she should not be doing this work. Jayanthi arrives and tells her that she does not wnat to be in the house when the people come so as not to create problems and leave.

Kasthuri praying. Thanam comes there and starts talking about her so called 'problem'. Kasthuri assures her that is not a problem at all but a mutual agreement between her and Thiru. Thanam is afraid that Thiru might leave Kasthuri like Ram did. Kasthuri tells Thanam Thiru is very different from Ram. Both sisters leave the pooja room happily. THODARUM.

13/8/09 - Wednesday - Patsy

The prospective bride is sitting with her friends. Mother asks her to go get some bajees for the friends while waithing for the maapilai's arrival. Bharath and his friend comes in and asks where Jayanthi is. He is told Jayanthi went to the temple and will only be back after the entourage had left. Jayanthi praying at the temple. She prays that her friend gets a good maapilai and everything goes smoothly.

Maapilai and his family arrive and guess who? Of course it is Jayanthi's boyfriend thiagu. No one knows because they have not seen Thiagu before. Thiagu and family are welcomed into the house. Bharath asks where he works. Thiagu says something about working in a computer firm in coonur and is trying to open his pwn company. Bharath asks if he will take his wife back with him but Thiagu says o, he will move to Chennai. Thiagu's mother asks if he likes the girl. Thiagu thinks about Jayanthi and is sad. Thiagu says ok and his mother goes to talk to the girl (Still can't remember her name). Finally they agree to the alliance and everyone is happy. Jayanthi sits in the temple thinking.

Thiru tells Kasthuri he has to go out and she tells them her sister's family and attaia re leaving that evening. Thiru promises to come home early. Kasthuri asks if she can buy them some gifts and Thiru telsl her to go ahead and she doesn't need to ask his permission. Kasthuri tells about how her vasugi attai had life like a recluse since her husband's demise at an early age. Thiru tells her that is wrong and doesn't want Kasthuri to be like that should anything happen to him. Kasthuri becomes upset but Thiru tells her life has to go on although it is hard and wants her to continue with her duties as before and to be independent. He finally tells her not to worry too much and leaves saying he will be back soon. THODARUM.

Thursday 13/8/09 - Update by Eclat

UPDATES - 13th August 2009

Bharath, his friend, the lady and her daughter all in a discussion of the groom. Everyone seems to be happy with the sambandham. Bharath asks if the girl is ok with it, she replies neenga ellaam paarthu sonnaa ok thaan, Bharath insists on her views because it is her life. Jayanthi enters the house then, wants to know about the maapillai. The mother (forgot her name) says that they seem to be good people. Jayanthi wants to know when is the muhurtam fixed for... maapillai (why doesnt one mention the groom's name !!) wants the nichayam after a month and the wedding 3 months later. Jayanthi wants to know why it is being postponed when it is a good idam, and not a problem for both of them. Jayanthi feels that she did not see the maapillai, the mother asks Bhanu to get the photo that was given by them. Jayanthi opens the envelope and... the power gets cut... they decide to see the photo next day.

Thiru on the phone, talking about some medications of Kavya. Sends her to get some water, tells Kasthuri that the surgery would be held after a couple of months. The doc is going to London.. and the medications are to be continued. Thiru says he will go to Hyderabad in the meantime and complete the documentation. Kasthuri is to take care of Kavya until then. Starts talking about the project... Kasthuri peps him up. Thiru goes out.

Bhanu, her mother and Jayanthi visit the temple. Mangai enters the same temple. While Mangai is praying, Bhanu's family sit at the temple each consoling the other. Mangai is praying for Jayanthi. When Mangai is going around the temple, Bhanu & co., leave, the flower falls from Jayanthi' s head, mangai calls out to them and they turn. Mangai thinks that this girl resembles Jayanthi... Jayanthi is stunned ! Mangai starts walking towards them, wondering how Jayanthi is here.. looks at the ballooned tummy and asks what is this kOlam? Tells that they can go home and discuss, Jayanthi refuses to go with her, Mangai drags her on. Bhanu's mother tries to stop her in vain.

Kasthuri & family offering their prayers at home, Thiru takes leaves. Kasthuri seems a little nervous, Thiru enquires and tells her to be brave.

Jayanthi's mom shouting at her... asking why she had to come here like this... could have died instead. Bharath asks Mangai to take her inside. Jayanthi's mom asks her to get out.. Mangai tells her mom to be calm.. her mother does one RKO... suggests suicide for the whole family... Jayanthi spills the beans that it was Bharath who saved her.. Mangai wants to know why she hid it from them.. he says he did it because they cant accept it..

Friday special - Updates 14th August 2009...

Continues from yesterday... Mangai's mom has her turn for RKO. Asks if Jayanthi was sent to Chennai for the same reason. Bharat acknowledges. She shouts at Jayanthi, saying if she had known earlier she would have got her married, and asks who was in her mind... Jayanthi refuses to answer.. wants to leave the house or commit suicide. She too joins in the oppaari. Mangai asks her mom to calm down which fuels the oppaari. Wonders how she would face the world.. idhuvarai ungala adichadhu kooda illaye she cries - (i felt she cried because she did not whack them rather than for the situ) becomes too emotional and goes to commit suicide. Mangai, bharath stop her... sorry people wouldnt want to use the lingo she used to describe Jayanthi's condition... in short she says that Jayanthi kettu pOitta.. (yabba.. enna oru kandupidippu) curses Jayanthi. Seeing all this Bharath takes the blame... ( innoru Gander!) says Jayanthi is innocent. Jayanthi asks Bharath to stop this nonsense... that he is lying. Bharath shuts her up, she still negates what he says. Mangai is shocked and so are the others. Mangai refuses to believe. Jayanthi says that Mangai is right. He cannot take a blame for her. He blackmails Jayanthi emotionally.. saying if she says anything he would commit suicide, but still Jayanthi says he is lying. The stupid mother tells, jayanthi being guilty doesnt want to accept but he is a man and has owned up ! (enna oru stupid logic) His MIL talks bad of him. Mangai thinks back on what her mom had told her earlier of being careful, about Jayanthi. Now it is Mangai's turn to shout at Bharat and she says it is a paavam to have his child.. gets into the room and shuts the door. The whole battalion knock on the door crying out her name. Mangai is crying in the room. Removes all the bangles and beats on her tummy. (enakku idhu theyvayaa) Bharat manages to break open the door... Bharat, Jayanthi & her mom look shocked !

Kasthuri at the dining table lost in thoughts, smiling to herself. Daydreams that she is pregnant and Thiru and Kavya dote on her. The next scene is of she having the baby and they as a family all happy !

At the hospital, Mangai's mom sobs... Bharath waits.. Mangai is on trips and unconscious in the ICU... the doc gives her some injection, instructs the nurse and gets out. Bharath wants to know Mangai's condtion, the doctor asks him to meet her after 5 minutes in her room. Bharath wants to see Mangai, the doctor says treatment is on and he cant see her. Mangai's mom continue her sob and tries to enter the room. The nurse sends her out saying she cant.

Doctor & Bharath in conference. Doctor wants to know how this happened? Bharath lies saying she fell down in the bathroom, she says she has seen more than 5000 cases, she knows that something else is the reason..asks him to come out with the truth, says there was a small problem at home and tells the mishap. Doctor tells that when someone is pregnant they should be happy and the others around should ensure her happiness, ippadiyaa nadandhukardhu she chides. Bharath wants to know how she is... the doctor tells the child is dead... thunder, lightening , shock and freeze on Bharath's face..
