I had lost my flash drive, turns out it was in my room all along

Part 5

Rad: Arjun!

She walks up to him, and taps him on the shoulder

Arjun turns around shocked to see Radhika

Rad: arjun tum yahan kya kar rehe ho?

Arjun: Radhika bhabhi aap? 

Rad: haan Radhika bhabhi, tum tho hum saab ko bulgaye

Arjun: nahi bhabhi its not like that, waise aap yahan?

Rad: haan, because of business aur tum?

Arjun: enjoying the holidays bhabhi.  Actually I'm here with a friend.

Rad: girlfriend?

Arjun: no I wish. 

Rad: arjun tum nehi badlo ge

Arjun: hows everyone at home

Rad: saab thik hai, aur tumare mama aur papa

Arjun: same as always. Papa wants me to join the business

Rad: well you should take on some responsibilities

Arjun: ya I guess. Uh bhabhi I should go I have to meet my friend at a coffee house, but call me later and ill show you around town

Rad: maybe in a few days.  I'm tired and I'm going to be stuck in meetings for the next two days, but definitely after that.

Arjun: ok see u.

Arjun gives Radhika a quick hug and she leaves.

Suddenly someone taps arjun on the shoulder

Man: hey dude what's up

Arjun turns around and looks at the man, wondering if he saw Radhika.

Arjun: oh hey?

Man: new girlfriend already, man you work fast

Arjun: no its not like that.  She's like a sister to me.

Man: oh sorry dude. So ready to go. 

Ok so it seems like he didn't see her face.  Does he even remember her?  Did he even see her face?

Man: whats up? U seem a little lost

Arjun: huh? Uh nothing I'm just thinking about something

Man: something wrong?

A: uh ho. Everythings fine.  For now. I don't know what's going to happen if you two come face to face with each other.

Man: ok so lets go

A: yeah lets go

With that they left.

Radhika entered her room.  She looked out of her window.

Rad: wow what a view

She could see the Big Ben from her room and everything looked so beautiful covered in the snow.

She decided to go out and get something to eat before she fell asleep.  Her stomach was growling really loudly.

Grabbing her coat she went outside.

Rad: whew the snow sure looks beautiful, but feels really cold

She spotted a little diner close to the hotel and decided to go there

Man: so tum yahan kaise?

Arjun: I came to see you

Man: really?

Ar: don't you ever want to go back

Man: look man I don't want to have this discussion with you.

Ar: ok ill let it go

Man: what about you? Have you talked to anyone or been to the house

Ar: yea. Everyone's fine

Radhika walked into the diner a gush of wind coming in with her

Arjun looked up when he heard the door opening.  His eyes almost popped out of his head when he saw Radhika walking in.  Fortunately Radhika hadn't seen him.  She walked up to the counter and sat there instead of finding a table. He had to get out of there quickly, before Radhika saw them.

Arjun: uh should we leave

Man: we just got here

Arjun: uh yeah, but I have some work to do

Man: you should leave.  I need to get something to eat, my stomach's empty

Arjun contemplated for a minute.  Should he leave him here even though she was there?  Maybe she didn't know who he was and he definitely knew that he didn't know who she was.

Arjun: k see ya

Arjun took his things and rushed out the door, avoiding Radhika

He was left at the table alone.  He looked around.  The diner was basically empty except for a couple sitting at a table and a lady sitting at the counter.  Deciding that he didn't want to be sitting alone at a table he shifted to the counter.

He looked over at the lady sitting at the counter.  She was immersed in her menu, and he couldn't see her face.

The waiter came to him

"What can I get for you sir?"

"uhh can I get a sandwich please."

W: and anything to drink?

Man: yeah can I get some coke please

W: coming right up

He looked over at the lady sitting at the counter again.  Though she wasn't looking at the menu, he couldn't see her face as she had a scarf wrapped around her head.  He chuckled to himself.  Usually people who were this cold were foreign to London's weather. 

Radhika had finally ordered and she wished she would receive her food quickly so she would be able to go to the hotel and fall asleep.  On top of her jet lag this weather was no help.  She wondered how people lived here in the winter. 

Feeling too tired she buried her head in her hands on the counter.

W: tired ma'am

The waiter asked as he brought her a plate of food.

Rad: just a bit of jet lag

W: long flight?

Rad: yeah, need some food and then I'm going to sleep

The waiter left Radhika to eat her food

She quickly ate her food.  She looked around at her surroundings.  She smiled as she saw the couple sitting together, they looked so cute.  She sighed when she realized that she would never have anything like that.  The only man that would able to give her that was gone and it didn't seem like he would b back any''''''..

Her gaze fell on the man sitting at the counter.  He was talking on his phone and she couldn't quite get a glimpse of his face.  Then he turned towards her he was still looking around, but she had got a clear look at him.  Her breath caught in her throat.  She looked away and signaled for the waiter.  Quickly paying her bill she went out of the diner.

She ran as fast as she could not wanting her past to catch up with her.

When she couldn't run any longer her knees fell to the ground.

The tears began streaming down her face.

"Dev"  she whispered into the cold wind.
