Episode No 190 Thursday 2/7/09

Raasi's dad is cleaning the windows. Kalyan's dad does not
want his sambhandhi to do such errands. But athai says that
it is best that he does some work around the house. Ramana
comes with some addresses for a new house. Klayan's dad says
that there is no hurry for this. But athai again quips that they may
not like to stay in their mappillai's house !!! In short athai makes it
a point to indicate that they are unwanted in her bro's house.
Kalyan's father instead of slapping his sister tries to placate -
"pls do not mind ..she talks a lot..does not mean any thing.."
Ramana calls athai as Anna Poorani and asks for some buttermilk.
Athai goes in and digs at Raasi's mom - "now that all of you are
here, we do not need any watch dogs... no fear of any thefts here."
Raasi's mom feels bad that they ever accepted to come here. Athai
does not stop with Raasi's parents. She also digs at Tara and Mani -
"my brother is running a choultry here.....people keep coming in
and eat danda soru ..hmmm, let me see..how long this goes on.."
Raasi consoles her mom saying that athai is leaving in the evening.
" u also learn to be like Tara..just ignore.." Raasi says that her dad
should never know all this.

Ramani is drying clothes. Her dad comes with some prasadam but
she refuses to accept " I do not want to accept prasadam from a sinner" .
Further explains that he threw out Raasi's parents which is a great sin.
Daddy explains that Ramani lost her life only because of Raasi assisted
by her dad. "they may get a new house but your life?? will u get it back???
Ramani says that he is too adamant and does not see reason.

Dining table - Kalyan's dad asks about Raasi's parents. Raasi say
that they will eat later. Athai says that they are used to eating a lot
and might feel bad to eat here in the dining table. Asks Raasi to
make some hot vadas and bring. Judge goes to bring Raasi's parents
and and asks all the rest to wait. Some banter between Tara and athai.
Athai's hubby jokes with Tara. Judge finally convinces Raasi's parents
and brings them to the dining table. Ramana is also called.Tara makes
him to sit on the table. Athi has her final word - "vadai maavu sariya arai
padalai pole irukku!! masinji irukkum nu niniachen .....innum konjam aatti
yirukkanum.." All become silent.. Raasi is upset...Judge frowns - at least
after this wil you shut your sister's venomous mouth ????? enna judge O
enna mathri judgement kudithingalO??

Episode 194 Thursday 9/7/09

Starts with Tara enacting her drama. Tells Kalyan that everyone
is against her -"they force me to take such decisions. The way
maama talked...hurt me...but cant blame him, he just spoke his
mind. I will go and apologize to Raasi's parents. I just seem to
do things on an impulse. I promise you that I wont ever do this"
Goes and hugs Kalyan. Kalyan is categorical - allows her to hug as
he would allow a friend of his. Tara has a wicked smile.

Now starts the apologizing padalam - Tara goes to one by one
and apologizes. " Uncle, sorry, aunty, sorry, innoru uncle sorry..'
Raasi's dad must be a mangai madaiyan - tells Tara that she is
also like a daughter - like Raasi -'mistakes like this happen, we
should move on.." Goes to Ram anna and apologizes to him also.
Ram feels bad that all this started because of him. Tara now
preempts -" the whole world is talking bad about me and Kalyan.
Any parent will be worried to have another girl living with their daughter
and SIL !! But, none of you believe all this gossip !!!I just want to promise
that I will not fail your trust.." cries some more and runs upstairs. While
the whole sheep family is floored by the drama ( uh huh....the whole thing
was such a fake !! even an idiot can see through Tara !!) Tara watches from
upstairs and applauds herself - " Kalyan u said that u cant stand if I come to
harm, right? athu pothum enakku, nee enakku thaan da"

Temple visit - Kalyan complains that he is getting delayed to go
to work - "ippo pOi kovil?" Judge says that this temple is very
powerful -"this tree is known as Varam tharum maram. Whatever u wish
for will be given ( Roja makes a mental note to steal a branch and bring it IF
lounge - Karpaga Virukshamaa?? IF Tamil lounge le vaichu, intha Tamil serials
ellathaiyum ore adiyaa ozhichu kattu nnu naanga ellarum pray pannikkarOm!!)
Tara says that she does not believe in any such thing -"destiny uncle, destiny..
only that" Kalyan applies kumkum on Raasi's forehead -Tara eyes it with envy -
imagines that Kalyan does that to her and smiles. Raasi's mom asks Raasi to tie
a cradle on the tree -" so u get a baby soon" Raasi does that and Tara thinks -
" tying that cradle wont get u a baby...Kalyan needs to co-operate..I wont let him
touch you..." As Raasi finishes that, a small boy pulls her saree. Raasi lifts him
up and her mom is overjoyed "ippo thaan thottil kattine ...athukkule un kitte
baby.." Raasi cootchi cooes with that baby. The baby's mother says that he
was born only after she tied a cradle in this same temple. The baby's name is
Kalyana Sundaram. Ram anna says that the baby pulled Raasi's sari only
because he is Kalyan's name sake. Now, Raasi's mangai father says that only
if Tara gets married Raasi will get a baby ( enna yya link ithu?? mottai thalaikkum
muzhan kaalukkum mudichu??) So, Raasi wants to write a request and apply to
Varm tharum tree. Tara objects but Raasi goes ahead...

Episode No 198 Thursday 16/7/09

Starts with Raasi's friend coming with the bad (???? for whom??) news - "Vikram called off the wedding and left for Canada - reason?? not given" Raasi is furious and so are the rest. Well loads of dialogsabout the cowardice / breach of trust.....all feeling bad for Tara - "kalyanam vendam nnu sonna, we forced her....now this.." Mani watches all this and has the mental picture of Tara burning the letter. Tara comes and innocently asks Raasi," did Vikram call?? By now he should have called me??? may be busy with wedding preps?? How am I going to leave u all and go??" -puts on an act of happy bride to be. The news of Vikram calling off the wedding is broken by Kalyan - now it is time for the next act from Tara - " why?? why did he call off?? I told u all that I do not want to marry but u guys forced me !!! Now see...." Goes inside her room and locks. The whole jing bang knocks at the door - calling out "Tara, open the door.." Kalyaan asks Mani to look through the window. Mani peeps and sees a smiling Tara

Tara smiles and cups her mouth so that the laughing noise does not seep out. Removes her glasses and fingers her eyes so that they can water..... Comes out and says that she did want to end her life - " but if I do some thing like that, all of u will be in trouble.." All tryto console her saying that they will find a better groom for her but Tara says that she will never consider marriage - " U want me to marry some one, I say yes and start dreaming...all goes kaput and I have to do it all over again? sorry ..no way.." Mani watches all this and has a funny expression.

Tara in the temple - talks to the God - loud talk - "U granted Raasi's wish and arranged for my marriage. I managed to break it. Raasi believes Aandavan but I believe Thandavan.....Only Kalyan should marry me.." One woman watches this and warns Tara -" nothing wrong in talking to God but please be informed that She is the personification of power . If She decides to play, you cant stand it"
At the same time, Thandavan Saamiyar's car breaks down just opposite Raasi's house - he is standing outside. Raasi sees this and invites him inside - " unga mathiri periyavanga kaal enga veet le patta romba punniyam.." Thandavan walks in...steps inside. At the same time Tara ties a wish slip in the Varam Tharum tree - come on give me a break - if u can undo what God desires by burning the wish slip, why tie your request?? You are all powerful to get what u want!! Why do you seek God's help?? - Requests God that She should make Kalyan marry her...Saamiyaar walks in to Raasi's house and starts drinking the water offered by Raasi... Tara is gloating and tying the slip.... her saree catches fire....
