Hai Friends,

Great news for all of us. Zee Tamil is starting Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009 - singing Reality show from June 22, 2009. After the audition in Trichy, Coimbatore, Madurai, Tirunelveli and Chennai has selected 15 contestants paired with the 15 singers of Kolywood. It is expected that this show will be great show as we know that Zee TV were the pioneers in reality show.

From the advertisement coming in Zee Tamil, 15 kolywood singers are Srilekha Parthasarthy, Kalpana, Vinaya, Roshini, Sangeetha, Mathangi, Prashanthani, Prasanna, Mukesh, Sathyan, Aslam Mustafa and 4 more singers. It seems each contestants will be paired with kolywood singers and made to perform.

It is a new concept and will go a long way. Also saw the clippings of their pooja in Zee tamil news. It was very grand and unique. waiting to watch this programme on 22nd June at 09.00 p.m.

Hey Surya,

Thanks for the info. It looks interesting to have Tamil version of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. I am afraid only India viewers can watch it if none of the online sites upload it. We dont get Zee Tamil aboard so will be depended on daily updates and videoes online.

Zee Tamil is being telecast through all the cable operators in Tamil nadu. Outside TN, if we have Dish TV we are in a position to see Zee Tamil. They are advertising this show in Zee Tamil every 15 minutes. They format looks very interesting and unique show in India to show with the kolywood singers. They have selected 15 contestants from over 6000 who came for auditions in Madurai, Coimabtore, Tirunelvelli, Trichy and Chennai.

Keep watching Zee Tamil Every Monday and Tuesday at 0900 p.m. I will also keep you posted after episode.

Hope the rest of us can watch this show if someone uploads the episodes on the internet/ youtube. But it does sound very interesting. This will bring out many telents.

Hello Friends

The opening episode was grand and spectacular. It was unprecedented with funfair. All the singers were brought in a chariot from Vadapalani to Prasad studios with karakattam, mayilattam, pulliattam. All of them were throughly enjoying. Chief guests were MSV, Radhika, Vijay Anthony. Zee is trying to use this programme to increase their viewership and TRP. I think they will definetely succeed. We wish Zee TV a grand succeess and let the best talent be spotted in this programme. Tomorrow they are going to telecast the auditions.

Keep watching Zee tamil every Monday and Tuesday at 09.00 to 10.00 p.m.

Second episode was very nice as it introduced all the celebrity singers :

Prasanna, Vijay Yesudas, Belly Raj, Jayadev, Sathyan, Mukesh, Alsam Mustafa,

Rajalakshmi, Srilekha Parthasarthy, Sangeetha, Vinaya, Mathangi, Kalpana, Roshini, Prashanthini

From next week the auditions held at Madurai, Trichy, Coimbatore, Tirunelveli and chennai will be telecast and finally 15 contestants are going to be selected.

Keep watching Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009 and express your opinion.

Clarity of the show is very good. Repeat of the show is on Saturday and Sunday at 08.00 p.m.

I will certainly keep you posted after every episode. The format of the show is very impressive and I am sure it is going to be one of the best reality show of Tamil. Most of us who were watching Start Vijay on Monday and Tuesday at 09.00 p.m. have an option to change and the inaugural episodes of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2009 was excellent.

The Director of the Show is Andrew Jones who just finished Athiradi SInger in Sun TV. He always comes out with new ideas and his quality of the show is very good.

We wish him all the best for the grand success of this programme.

The repeat telecast was shown yesterday Saturday at 08.00 p.m. on prime time. It was really nice to watch the same again and it was very interesting. Today Sunday at 08.00 p.m.is the repeat of Tuesday's programme.
