Bhagayam stands behind selvam when he was talking to his FIL. Selvam told his father -in-law that he has choosen periappa's house for thanikudithanam, sivaraman is so happy to hear that, and he asked whether to check what are the things they don't have at periappa's house so that they can buy that for them, but selvam refuse the offer with respect and told, he will take care of theings from this point as he wanted to take personal care of archana's needs, and he wanted archana's parents to come and wish whole hearedly. Sivaraman asked selvam to tell without hesitation again and again, but selvam was so firm in his stand. Sivaraman is so touched, and he told that he will let the house members know this and hungup the phone, When he reveal the thanikudithanam house to sivagami amma, as expected she jumps up and dows, she told that selvam, just did what he wanted and told if the couple live at periappa's house, it won't count as a thanikudithanam, as one by one selvam's family members will come and they will join with the couple, so her daughter archana won't live happy, and sivagami amma further suggests, its better to look for a house in their area, archana is really upset with all the mum's accusation, but she keeps quiet😳, sivaraman told sivagami to stop her paranoid thinking, and periappa's house is the best choice, as he too was worried how archana will get used to the unknown enviournment, and mixed with new people. Poonga is ready to have a nap, bhagyam calls him out, he as usual mutters something and asked what's the matter, his wife pointed the TV to pack it nd take it to periappa's house, poonga wonders why she asked him to do so, she said she likes to buy new things for selvam as he is going for thanikudithanam, but she doesn't have money. So she try to send the things to that house for his comfort. And asked rani to pack the mixy too. Poonga is touched (Aiyo... innuma neenga unga wife ai purinchukalai???, ithuku seventh sense thevaiye illai 5 and a quarter sense kooda pothume poonga😆😆😆) He told why the couple has to use the old things? the poranthaveetu people should arrange the new things for the thanikudithanam. Bhagyam's face brightened as her plan starts to work out, and asked poonga, who is going to ask this in their house, poonga is in a jolly mood, so he claimd ask sampanthi amma, the condition is after they go to thanikudithanam only will come in effect. Saying this he get ready to go, Bhagyam was so happy and stops him, she will give a list of things, as she already prepared, and asked poonga to handed over that to sivagami amma, and when she handed over the list😲, ada kadavule sathiyama athu 3 feet long irukum. Poonga innocently take that and ready to go, Bhagyam thinks to her self, this is the end of the thanikudithanam topic. As sivagami amma will "saamiyaadufy" (enna oru understanding sampatnthi amma pathi😆😆) when she see the list. Because awhile ago selvam told he doesn't want any thing, so sivagami amma will definitely make trouble and put a full stop for the thanikudithanam. Bhagyam thinks further, as a positive outcome, her son selvam will be with her (Ithukellam ukaanthu yosipaangalo!!!😕). When Poonga about to go selvam comes in with the fan. He asked poonga where he's upto, poonga told that he's going to sampanthi's house to give the seer list.
Selvam really worked up and immediately calls out mum, he told archana family already gave more than they have to, now this list will create more problems, and he doesn't want to take things from them anymore, He will buy little by little in his earnings, and warn his mum don't try to do such things, as just now he told his father in law he doesn't want anything. Bhagyam pretends that she doesn't know anything, and selvam seems samaathaanam with the reply. He told he go to the shed, and again he turns hesitantly and asked his mum not to come for the paal kaaichum ceremony, everybody shocked with that, but he told, if mum find any small mistake there she will immediately tell that out, sivagami amma will make problem with that, so he wanted to avoid those situations, and he was so hesitant when asked mum not to come, he further states after archana's family gone, his family members can come stay and do whatever they want to do, he sees his mum's face and told that he hopes she understands him and left. bhagyam seems very upset poonga and rani samaathaanam pannify her, but she cries and told, before go to thanikudithanam, her son separate her from him, and it seems she plans for something. atleast the background music suggests that she is up to a plot.
