If bio parents R poor the child may feel it his duty to look after them & this might put his foster parents in a dilemma. At times the truth uncovered may even be embarassing for the child

well, for some people it's just difficult to adopt a child or something and wouldn't do it unless it is absolutely necessary.

Many infertile couples prefer to try invitro methods to conceive rather than adopting . there was once a case of a child trying to locate his dad who was a sperm donor that led to lot of ethical questions.
