Can anybody tell me from where this superstitious came? Do you believe in superstitions. If yes then to what extent. Sometime I also behave like superstitious on some situations.
There are couples of which I know:

- bad luck if black cat crosses your path
- good luck if black dog crosses your path
- something bad happen if dog cry
- good luck if you go out for new work or exam after eating curd
- bad omen if someone sneezes right before you are about to start or do something
- if your eye lid pulsates, it can be a sign of upcoming good or bad luck depending on whether it is your left or right eye.
and many-many more.....

Do you have any story/situation that proves or disproves above statements?

Dont know how these superstitions originated but from my own experience I can say that they do not lead to any mishaps . A black cat , dog , sneeze , curd , hasnt made any noticeable change in my life wether for good or bad.

But then I have to admit that it may B bcoz I dont b liv in such things. 😉 They might affect one who is conditioned to b liv them 😛

Expectations have a way of being fulfilled - so watch out 😆

Re topic-

i don't think i believe in superstitions😆......but i guess i do😆😆

Here's one that has caught on me.......suppose there's any good thing that i might be expecting......for eg let them be marks in an exam.......then i'd be like all humble and sth about them, saying that i did very poorly, or saying "aaj to watt lag gayi" even when my exam might have went well.......it doesn't increase marks by any means but i have a strange fear that saying that "i did very well" might decrease my marks😆😆

Regarding the superstitions mentioned, i don't believe in any of them , so i don't care about any of them.......so even if a cat might have passed in front of me, most probably i 'd not even have observed the cat's colour............kaali , safed, hari, laal, saari billiyan ek samaan😆

@ Vinu - yes yes yes. I believe in some superstitions. You know the kinds that mandate buying gold and diamonds on dhanteras, diwali, wedding anniversary, b'day or any other day😉 baaki sab superstitions gaye tel lene😆

p.s. I guess I am superstitious about one thing ......after all😳 Whenever my daughters look really pretty, or appear to gain some height or get really good grades, I always say touchwood after praising them.....heck....I even find wood and touch it and ....ahem ahem....they don't know this but when they are asleep, mein namak mutthi mein ley ker unn kee nazar bhi utaartee hoon every now and then😳 Just don't wanna take any chances as far as my girls are concerned😊
