When i insert a Disc into my dvd drive my computer does not pick it up and then i cant back it up

Does this happen to blanks only or to regular ones as well? Has restarting / resetting your drivers and other regular troubleshoots worked?

If the DVD driver is unable to recognize da disc.... den problem lies with ur drive. Try resetting da driver in da hardware settings.
