Written Update 7th May 09

Thakur saab enters Tapasya's room and find Tapasya still very angry with him. He then explains to Tapasya that unlike her Ichcha is deprived of all happiness in world and Thakur saab is trying to help her cope up with the situation. He still loves his daughter the way he used to love her. He offers to take Tapasya out for diner.

In the morning the girls are getting ready to go to school. Ichcha keeps reciting the poem. Tapasya again insists that she should take sick leave to which she replies that as Tapasya's father has told her that to who try and are courageous never lose so she too will try and not be afraid. Tapasya wants to say something but keeps quite on seeing her father approaching. Damini feed Ichcha curd and sugar and she takes everyone's blessing. Everyone wishes Ichcha good luck. Tapasya (just like Nani) keeps making faces and looks at Ichcha with evil eye (it seems Tapasya is turning into mini Nani).

In the school, the strict lady teacher (who had earlier discouraged Ichcha from participating) gives everyone their numbers in which order they will recite. Ichcha is given no.2. Ichcha says "Today I will recite Daffodils by William Wordsworth". The teacher looks shocked and she tells her what Thakur saab had told "himmat karne walon ki haar nahin hoti, koshish karne walon ki haar nahin hoti" (courageous never lose and those who try never lose).

At haveli, Thakur saab is nervous and exited. Thakurain asks him why he so restless, as if he is the one is taking part. Thakur saab says he feels his childhood days have returned. Damini brings medicines for Thakurain. They ask her to get ready and go to Ichcha's school to see her daughter reciting on stage. Damini hesitates that she would feel awkward among all rich and educated people. Yet the couple insists and she complies.

In the school, Ichcha goes on stage to recite. She is nervous in the beginning and keeps looking at Thakur saab and her mother. Tapasya looks happy seeing Ichcha afraid. But then to her dismay, Ichcha starts reciting and completes the poem successfully. Her lady teacher too looks satisfied and happy. Everyone claps. Damini starts crying out of happiness, so does Thakur saab. However, someone else's name is announced as the winner. Ichcha cries silently. Tapasya looks very happy (her expressions are quite similar to Nani's). Ichcha walks to Thakur saab and apologizes for not winning the competition even after Thakur saab worked so hard with her. Thakur saab consoles her saying she recited bravely and dint make any mistake. So this is not her loss but her victory. The lady teacher then goes on stage and announces Ichcha's name and tells that she has won her heart and to her she is the true winner. She tells everyone how Ichcha did not know to read and write English and how she had discouraged her from participating and had challenged her that she will not be able to recite. Ichcha accepted the challenge and taught everyone a lesson that if someone is week in something then we should help him and laugh at him. She then asked Ichcha how she prepared the whole poem. Ichcha takes her blessing and says that she was scared in the beginning and wanted to back off. But Tapasya's father helped her and encouraged her. Everyone looks at Thakur saab who becomes emotional and tears drop from his eyes. Ichcha thanks her mother for being their always and believing in her. Everyone praises Ichcha and claps. Tapasya as usual is fuming with rage.

Back at home, diner is served. Tapasya too comes and joins them. Damini is serving food. All dishes are according to Ichcha's liking has been prepared. Thakurain says that this is because she has made everyone feel proud today. Tapasya bursts in anger and throws her plate. She says everyone is praising Ichcha and has prepared what Ichcha likes not according to her taste. She throws her chair and runs to her room. Everyone is saddened by this and Damini and Ichcha feel guilty of everything. Episode ends.

Precap: Some party is going to be held and Ichcha tells Tapasya that she will get ready soon for the party and they will have fun. Tapasya and Nani ask Ichcha not to come as her friends don't like her and they will insult Tapasya for playing with her. Ichcha looks sad.
