I had no problems with the katrina question. I mean he is entitled to his own choices and favorites just like anyone else. the publicity angle didn't occur to me, but you're probably right.
What bothered me more was the "having fun" and "dating girls" part. not that i am implying that he should treat her as his bahu,or even potential bahu. but in general, the idea that a relationship that is not marriage is "just for fun", annoys me. of course marriage is more serious, but even ranbir initially gave interviews about how is not frivilous in relationships, and gets too attached to the women in his life. this was all ofcourse before BAH released.
more than his specific answers what bothers me more is that if a girl's parents had said,"oh my daughter is just having fun, she should be dating boys like i did" she would be made out to be a "boyfriend deserter" (and other harsher terms) but when its the guy we don't give that a second thought. its that attitude that bothers me.
i know i am overanalysing the whole thing, but i tend to do that 😊.
