BV - April 29th 2009 - Written Update

Highlights : Bhavri finds out about Phooli's secret wedding
                      Bhairav and Basanth set out to stop Phooli's wedding


The celebrations at the haveli continue. Madan Singh and his wife come there and wish the children. Everyone wonders where Bhavri is. Bhavri is on her way in a horse cart. She stops to talk to a man whose daughter's wedding she had arranged. She sees a jeep stop by and ask for directions from someone. She recognises the man in the jeep who is dressed like a groom and wonders who he is getting married to. She asks the shopkeeper about this and he tells her that the man had stopped to ask directions to Jagan's house. Jagan's daughter, Phooli was getting married to him.

Bhavri is shocked to learn about Phooli's wedding. She thinks to herself that the groom is much older than Phooli. She remembers Gehna's wedding and how she repented later for making Gehna suffer. She hurries towards the haveli.

At the haveli, Anandi and Jagya dance along with the dancers. Bhavri comes rushing in and whispers something to Bhairav, who is shocked. Maasa asks him what is wrong and he tells the whole family about Phooli's secret wedding. Bhavri tells everyone that the groom was atleast 3 times Phooli's age. Basanth gets a little uncomfortable hearing this. Sumitra asks Bhairav to do something, but Maasa yells at her. She tells everyone that these people were opportunists. They used Bhairav when the times were bad and didn't even bother to invite him to their daughter's wedding, despite Anandi being Phooli's best friend.

Anandi cries and begs Bhairav to take her to Phooli. She tells him that Phooli wanted to study and would have never agreed to get married. She was probably forced into it. Bhairav decides to stop the wedding. Maasa is shocked and tells him that they should be happy that a widow is getting married. Bhairav says that although that's a good thought, Phooli was too young for all this. He asks Basanth to come with him. Basanth hesitates. Maasa too signs to him to not go, but Basanth silently follows Bhairav, who leaves with Bhavri, Khajan, Bhagwati and the kids. Maasa is upset.

At Phooli's house Phooli's wedding is in progress when Bhairav comes there and stops the wedding. Anandi runs to Phooli, who hugs her and cries...

nice way for story to move ahead.. but ofcourse ppl will see this as double standards from Maasa's family.. :p
