Written update for 21st Apr 2009

Episode starts with Thakur saab in his wife's cabin in the hospital. Thakurain looks exhausted due to the operation and repents to Thakur saab about her rude behavior towards Damini. Yogi Thakur confesses his crime to her and tells her of the accident that he committed eight years ago and how Damini's husband was killed in that accident. He tells Thakurain that Damini came to know all this and that is why she wanted to leave haveli. Thakurain is more saddened by this revelation and want to meet Damini.

Damini comes to meet her and Thakurain seeks for her forgiveness with folded hands. She says she is sorry for all the trouble she has caused her. She says that Damini is great as in spite of all the insults she did all she could to save Thakurain. Thakurain requests her to stay and take care of Tapasya as a mother, forever. She also asks Damini to promise to raise Tapasya as she is sure that only Damini can give Tapasya all good moral values. Damini is in dilemma as she doesn't want to stay with the family of a man who took the life of her husband and made Ichcha an orphan; however she could not reject the tearful requests of Thakurain and promises her that she will stay and treat Tapasya like her own child.

Damini returns to haveli and finds Ichcha and Tapasya sleeping in the couch. Later in her own quarters, she takes of her bangles and bindi and cries remembering her husband and how she came to know about his death. She prays to god for strength so that she can properly fulfill her promise made to Thakurain.

In the morning, while preparing for school Ichcha notices her Ammu is not wearing bindi and jewelry. Ichcha tries to put a bindi on her Ammu's forehead but Damini pushes her back and tells har that later she will apply bindi. Ichcha insists and tells her that she doesn't look good without bindi and jewelry and what will her Papa think when he comes and finds her like this! Damini is touched by this and reapplies bindi.

Precap: Ichcha and Tapasya playing in garden. Both of them fall and hurt their elbows. Damini runs to them and picks up Tapasya and tends to both of their wounds. Damini is shown caring for Tapasya more than Ichcha.
