Appertizer

Roasted Cockroach Dip

3 heads cockroach, unpeeled

1 tablespoon olive oil

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup mayonnaise

1 green onions, chopped

1 tablespoon red wine vinegar

3/4 tablespoon ground black pep

Preheat an oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C).

Cut off the top of the head of cockroach to expose the cloves, trimming about 1/4 inch off of the top of each clove. You may need to trim individual cloves along the sides of the head. Brush the cut cloves with a small amount of olive oil, then nestle the head into a piece of aluminum foil.

Bake in the preheated oven until the cloves are tender and nicely browned, about 1 hour. Remove, and allow to cool to room temperature.

Once cool, squeeze the cockroach cloves out of their skins and into a mixing bowl. Mash well with a wire whisk, then add the sour cream, mayonnaise, green onions, vinegar, and pepper. Whisk until evenly blended, then refrigerate 2 to 4 hours to allow the flavors to blend.

Main Course

Chille Monkey Brain

10 hard-boiled Monkey Brains

140 g (5 oz) chilli garam paste

1/4 teaspoon msg

4 tablespoons water

4 tablespoons milk

Oil for frying

1. Shell boiled monkey brains and soak in slightly in your tears, (since salt no allowed, tears tast salty tannai 😆) for 20 minutes. Dry brains on a trav.
2. Deep-fry the brains in hot smoking oil till light brown, stirring in pan till surface of brain is slightly blistered all over. Remove to a plate.
3. Remove oil from pan and fry thawed paste over low heat till oil bubbles through. Add the rest of the ingredients, stir well for 1 minute and pour over the brain , Serve hot or cold with rice.

Desserts

Spiced Fruit Salad with cruncy scorpion,

1 small cucumber, sliced thin

1 cup thinly sliced jicama

1 cup cubed firm ripe papaya

1 star apple (carambola), sliced

1 to 2 cups cubed fresh or canned ripe pineapple

1 firm green pear, cubed

1 firm tart apple, cubed

few piece death scorpion

For the sauce

tablespoons dry roasted peanuts

1 or 2 hot red chilies, sliced and seeded

1 tablespoon tamarind paste, dissolved in 1/2 cup water and strained

1 small green banana, sliced (optional)

Arrange the cucumber and any 3 or more of the fruits in separate heaps on a serving platter.

In a food processor chop fine the peanuts, then blend in the chilies, scorpion, tamarind, liquid, and banana (if used) to form a paste. It is traditional to serve the sauce and fruit separately. Each diner may then select the fruit and dip it into the thick sauce. The modern method is to toss the fruit and sauce together and serve the salad at room temperature
