Hi guyz,

as v all know the elections r fast approaching. the king was wondering if indians studying n working abroad b given a chance to vote as our votes decide the country's future. n there r a considerable no. of people living abroad. it might not be possible to have regional elections voting as there r umpteen no. of regional parties like TDP, DMK, shivsena etc. but definitely the national elections can be conducted.

of course they should be given the rights to vote. they should vote in their ambassadorial embassy in the states where they live. especially those who are studying abroad as they are still the citizens of india and they should have equal rights as the citizens of india in india itself. for the working people they should be able to vote from the respective countries that they are working at as long as they haven't put aside their citizenships of india and become a citizen of another state.

yeah but all those who study n work abroad will settle there. many of them come back. they have families back home. so they need to have a right to exercise there vote as it involves their family n themselves too

If they are coming back then they should vote ....but if they aren't coming back and they aren't interested in India's development or concerned about India then why should they vote...there is no need .
