I don't know if any of you have ever tried this dish. I make it with radish keerai, which I chop finely. Heat some oil, fry chopped garlic, then add chopped radish greens, salt and turmeric powder, and fry for a few minutes. Add water and cook. When the keerai is cooked, add cooked thuvar dhal, let it all come to a boil together. Season with mustard seeds and hing, and squeeze lemon juice. I read somewhere that radish greens are very nutritious, and are good sources of ???, and since I try to incorporate greens into our diet at least three times weekly, today I made this keerai kootu and cabbage curry, and both of them are greens!
